Haha–yes I was hoping it was an element I could edit, like the others.
I just put your code in, Guenni, thanks! It’s not all centered though.
Thank you both…I was hoping for a more user-friendly and easy way to fix this.
Sure, it’s https://www.moneyprodigy.com
I would love to, but how do I attach a screenshot?
Here’s a link — I’m talking about putting an author name that’s clickable under the title of the blog post area (in each, single post): https://twinsmommy.com/how-do-bloggers-make-money/
Hi Jordan!
Did you see where I said in my Google Analytics some of my posts take over 10 secs to load? Are there things we can do within this theme to make it faster? I’m all ears.
Thanks,
AmandaThanks for taking a look! That’s great news — because in my Google Analytics, it says three of my top posts are loading between 9 seconds and 12.8 seconds.
March 5, 2019 at 9:58 pm in reply to: How to put title and date above featured image on post? #1075100YES!! Victoria – you figured it out. THANK you.
March 2, 2019 at 5:26 pm in reply to: How to put title and date above featured image on post? #1073641So for me, I have two sites and am using the same exact theme (enfold).
On one site, the category and title appear on top of the featured image (here: https://www.frugalconfessions.com/financial-intimacy/marriage-financial-planning/). On the other site, it appears under the featured image (here: https://www.moneyprodigy.com/building-confidence-in-your-child/).
I would like both sites to have the title above the featured image.
There must be some sort of setting doing this?
Thanks,
AmandaYes – I’m hoping to show the date on the blog post as when I updated the post, not when I originally published the post. This is for each individual post.
For example, if you google “how do you plan your parent’s date night”, my article comes up within the top 3 (FrugalConfessions.com). But the date is February 18, 2019 on it. I’ve updated it since then.
Thanks. That’s way over my head though!
You can close, thanks!
Great news — one of my plugins that is already activated is already creating a sitemap (the Yoast plugin!). So I’m going to delete the plugin with the issue, and ask my hosting company to delete the staging site.
Thanks. So, there’s no other plugin that I have that submits a site map? Or does the theme have that functionality?
Oh great — does that mean we should disable it on the real site, then delete the staging site?
Also, if I get rid of that plugin, do I still have a site map going to Google?
Thanks,
AmandaOkay — from my hosting company (in the private section)
Thanks. I’m asking my hosting company if they can create a staging site.
Yes, that’s where I put in the private information. Hmmmm…
I’m doing it again, in the Private Content area.
February 11, 2019 at 5:33 pm in reply to: How to put title and date above featured image on post? #1065521Hmmm…just tried that coding above in the functions.php, and got the following error: “Unable to communicate back with site to check for fatal errors, so the PHP change was reverted. You will need to upload your PHP file change by some other means, such as by using SFTP.”
Hi,
I wanted to check in on this, please? I had given a username/password in the private content area.
Thanks,
AmandaThanks, Mike.
I appreciate the screenshot, because I couldn’t find an H1 tag on it.
The code worked well – thank you!
Also, how do I get the title to be above the featured image at the top, instead of below it (like on my Frugal Confessions site)?
~Amanda
Oh boy, I’m glad I asked:). Where would I find the functions.php file?
Thank you! Do you mean this file? functions-enfold.php
Also, where within this file would I put that code?
I don’t want to mess anything up:).
Drats — with how customizable this theme is, I was hoping there was a way to customize what goes onto each post in that area.

September 16, 2018 at 2:57 pm in reply to: Make a category page have a blog post at the top #1010406Bummer. I don’t think I am — can you tell me how just in case I want to hire someone to do it? Thanks.
September 8, 2018 at 4:51 pm in reply to: H3 heading that has a link in it is completely black #1007440Never mind — I dropped a bracket by accident. It’s working! thanks for the help.
September 8, 2018 at 4:17 pm in reply to: H3 heading that has a link in it is completely black #1007438Hi Mike,
Thanks. For some reason, after doing that, it goes back to black.
September 7, 2018 at 11:27 pm in reply to: H3 heading that has a link in it is completely black #1007325That worked – thank you! However…it’s not the same color as my other links. How do I make it a custom color?
September 7, 2018 at 3:34 pm in reply to: H3 heading that has a link in it is completely black #1007141Sure! Here you go (the H3 header is: Piggy Bank #1: National Geographic’s Glow in the dark moon bank ($14.95), and the “National Geographic’s Glow in the Dark Moon Bank” is a hyperlink to a product).
August 23, 2018 at 9:03 pm in reply to: Google Search Console 403 error on directory wp-content/themes/enfold/framework #1000953Hi! I’m having a Google search Console issue as well — it’s no longer recognizing my property. I put my tracking code into the Google Services area of Enfold’s theme; how do I get Google Search to verify my site? It’s been verified for years before this.
