Yayyyyy – that finally worked! All my text is now showing up, again (after I pasted the rest of it back in from my word document). Thank you SO much!
So I went into this page: https://www.moneyprodigy.com/goal-setting-for-kids-3-2/, and clicked “Default Editor Button”, and all the page’s text is still in the short code box. How do I translate that into the Gutenberg blocks like you did on the allowance for kids page?
For the Allowance for Kids Page – why can’t I use Gutenberg blocks to edit that page? I’d rather do that then build the page out with the Avia layout builder.
Your help is appreciated.

So I see that the page is in shortcode?
I just pasted all of the missing text below the shortcode into Gutenberg, and it’s not showing up. I also just noticed that all of my About page is in a shortcode box as well…why is it doing that? It’s hard to edit in a shortcode box (and I need to update my About page in the next month).
Thanks – that worked! I wonder why it disabled itself?
Also, that page is still missing half of the text and the graphic.
I just went into edit a blog post, and noticed that I no longer have Gutenberg blocks. Do you know what happened to it? It’s the classic editor again (I’ve been using Gutenberg for a few months now on this site).

I appreciate that!
Unfortunately, not all of the text is showing up.
There’s another 830 words below that “Share this image”. Also, the image/chart is not showing up.
They’re asking me to update to the latest version so that they can see if that’s the reason why the text on my one page has disappeared. But when I tried to do the instructions they sent, I got caught up on the two things above (no default theme to activate, and no area to deactivate the current theme).
I’m sorry – I hit a snag.
I backed up my site (check!).
Then I went to appearance-themes, and two issues:
:: There doesn’t appear to be a depress theme (https://ibb.co/hRshDm9)
:: When I click on either “customize” or anything else on the active theme, there’s no area where I can deactivate it.
Your help is appreciated.
Thanks, Rikard! I hope you’re well?
I’m a bit nervous to do that on my own, SO, I had my hosting company backup my site.
Question: when I deactivate the current Enfold theme…will that “break” my site until I get the newly updated zip file in?
I’m talking about these instructions:
“To re-install enfold theme via the WordPress dashboard without losing data.
Go to Appearance > Themes page and first, deactivate the active enfold theme as active themes cannot be removed.
Activate the default WordPress theme.
View the theme details of the theme you like to delete and click “Delete”.
Upload a freshly downloaded copy of the theme from ThemeForest.”
Thanks – I had wanted it to stretch across the screen which is why I had it set that way.
What’s weird is that half of the time, you see the entire piggy bank, and half of the time, you don’t. Like what the logo was doing.
The way you have the header makes the piggy bank smaller – I’ll sit with it and see if I like it this way or not.
Whoops – my header image is still cut off on the bottom (half the time it is fine, and half the time the legs on the piggy bank are cutoff, like how they are now —https://ibb.co/QX8TKRv).
Wow – thanks so much! This issue was driving me crazy:).
Can I reactivate Short Pixel now?
I should note that I cleared the Autoptimize cache. Is there a different cache I need to clear?
Okay – so I deactivated ShortPixel for the last 4-5 days, cleared my cache, and thought the problem had been solved… but then today I just went to my site and both the logo and the header image is cut off again, like before.
I’ve had the Shortpixel plugin for about a year now — if I shut it off, can we turn it back on? It’s really important for my site speed.
Thanks so much for taking a look. I’m not sure how to cut down on requests (and hired someone to up my speed about 5 months ago) — but good to know my speed is not terrible.
Thanks for that! I bought WP Rocket, and unfortunately, it did nothing to speed up my site. They ended up refunding my money because they saw that it was not helping. But I do know that many others have seen success with WPRocket, so I think it’s a good product.
Thanks for responding. What do you mean it’s a mess? And how do I reduce the amount of tags?
Thanks, Mike! It’s there again.
I wonder why that happened?
I appreciate your help with this.
I switched my pages to advanced editor and was able to add in an H1/special heading section. Woohoo!!
However…my images won’t show up on the page now. Also, when I click in to edit the textblock, all the words are no longer there.
Any thoughts on what is going on?
Here’s some screenshots:
Thanks for your time.
P.S. Just switched all those headings from H1 to H2 – thanks for pointing that page out to me!
Thanks so much for responding!
Yes, I agree, one H1 tag per page (that is an older page that I don’t give any attention to, and it looks like on its page source there are several H1 tags – I’ll need to change them).
I just want each of my pages, like the allowance page, to have one H1 tag as the title. For example, the Allowance for Kids page should have the Allowance for Kids title as the H1 tag…but I can’t seem to do it.
Maybe it’s because it’s classic editor that I don’t see the special heading area?
