Featured again…

Well, as I recently checked my Google analytics account, I saw a heavy increase of site impressions.. from Japan!

As i checked the incoming links it turned out that I was featured again, this time by the Japanese monthly magazine, “Web Designing“. It seems like someone over there liked my design, as well as the style of my CSS (at least i hope, could as well be a damning review, I’ll probably never find out)

All i could find out was: the article written by Miki Ofuji includes a CSS and XHTML analysis.
Well, enough with the bragging, just wanted to say hello to my Japanese Visitors ;)
If you like, leave me a comment and tell me what Mr. Ofuji liked or disliked…

PS: sorry about my poor English, it’s been a while since I last wrote a non-German article ;)

Allow us to introduce ourselves

Welcome! I opened this website as a personal blog in 2006, with little experience of WordPress itself, but was a big believer almost instantly. I started my career as a designer but programming really grew on me as well :)

Hi! I’m Yigit, a lithuanian customer satisfaction advocate. I am mainly working in the support forum, because I love the feeling that you get when you solve somebody’s problems. If I am not working I play my bass guitar and think about awesome ways to make you guys even happier :)

Hey! I’m Ismael, forum moderator from the Pearl of the Orient Seas. I’ve been pushing pixels, wrangling up codes for a few years now and it’s awesome! Most of my work is related to WordPress and everything within it. See you on the forum!

Hello, I’m Rikard from Sweden. I’ve been working with WordPress for about 4 years and I love everything about it. I’m equally good with front- and back-end so I can help you out with any problem you might have. If I’m not working you can most likely find me at my local billiard hall.

Hi, my name is Günter and I’m a software developer from Vienna, Austria. I enjoy working with WordPress now for some years as part of this team, released several plugins for WooCommerce and other customers and also offer customizations.

Hi I’m Nikko, web developer from Philippines. Tweaking and fixing websites are my passion. Sharing my skills and helping people refine their site or solving website issues would be a pleasure.

How Kriesi.at came to be:
Short history

Christian Budschedl

Christian Budschedl

Founder of Kriesi.at

Kriesi.at was founded in 2006 as a personal blog by Christian Budschedl (aka Kriesi). During his education at  SAE Vienna, a private college teaching web design & development, the personal blog transformed into a professional blog, covering HTML, CSS, Photoshop and ultimately WordPress topics.

Shortly after this first transformation, Kriesi started releasing WordPress Themes at Themeforest, converting the site once again by adding a theme catalogue. As the site grew from blog to business site, the team grew as well.

Support requests started to roll in and during the following years we added additional members to cover those support requests and speed up development. We are still only a small team but we really like it that way. It allows us to stay flexible, easily respond to trends and offer the best customer support imaginable :)
