Hello Kriesi-Support,
I have already contacted you in https://kriesi.at/support/topic/support-needed-4 , but
now we have paid your additional support and have access to our account in this forum. To the suspicion in the old thread above:
The JS developer has changed the .prepend() to .insertBefore() and now the Cookie-Header is visible. However that weren’t the visual bugs we experienced. These are(only in IE):
1: on all pages
a)the background of the header menue is not dyed gray when you scroll down
b)the page headings on the great picture on the top is not visible(but in HTML contained)
2: on /kontakt the contact form is not visible(but in HTML contained)
3: on /partnerprogramm the logo slider is not visibleOur hoster refers to the theme and claims: In IE occurs a nesting error and IE couldn’t handle that:
<div class=’template-page content av-content-full alpha units’><div class=’post-entry post-entry-type-page post-entry-5583′><div class=’entry-content-wrapper clearfix’></p></div></div></div></div></div>We have emptied our caches and are not minimizing js, but if I delete avia-compat-4.5.7.js in my browser, the text is shown.
Productive site link and staging site(which behaves like prod) link in private content, you got an account on our staging site, caching there is already disabled.Do you have any idea how to fix these bugs (bug nr. 2 is the most important to us.)
With best regards,
AlexanderJune 26, 2019 at 6:24 am #1113481Hey IT,
Thank you for the update.
We get the same error when we check the site on IE11 Windows 8.

Please ask your developer to fix the empolis.js script.

IsmaelJune 26, 2019 at 6:36 pm #1113681Hello Ismael,
I haven’t seen that our external developer has fixed the Cookie-Header visibility only on prod, so I synced prod completely to stage again to make sure everything is in the same state now. Your account had to be recreated, PW reset to the old (first) one.
Now the Cookie-Header is also visible there(the button doesn’t work, but that has no absolutely no priority). We have no idea yet, why the heading on the pictures and the page text on /kontakt and are not shown.
Many Thanks,
AlexanderJune 28, 2019 at 1:03 pm #1114250Hi,
Thank you for the update.
We found another error in the site, but it’s something we have already fixed in another thread. Here’s it is:
// https://kriesi.at/support/topic/internet-explorer-11-compatability/#post-1109429
And another error came out but it’s unspecified, so we have no idea what’s causing it.
SCRIPT16389: Unspecified error. File: kontakt, Line: 1, Column: 1

IsmaelJuly 8, 2019 at 4:43 pm #1116725Hello Ismael,
today a new potential customer couldn’t download a flyer with one of our quotations because the button on one of the pictures didn’t show up correctly.
Although we don’t know if the fix you mentioned repairs our visibility bugs, could we please give it a try and have a theme update before that happens again?Regards
AlexanderJuly 9, 2019 at 10:31 am #1116994Hi,
Thank you for the update.
Are you referring to the download button under the “Herausfinden, was in Ihren Daten steckt und wie Sie zur Industrie 4.0 kommen” section?
It is displaying properly on my end using Microsoft Edge.
Best regards,
IsmaelJuly 9, 2019 at 10:43 am #1117004Hello Ismael,

AlexanderJuly 11, 2019 at 3:52 am #1117649Hi,
Thanks for the clarification. We can see that a script is generating an error. Fortunately, we have this error fixed in one of the previous threads.
Please visit the following thread and follow the instruction to get rid of the error.

IsmaelJuly 11, 2019 at 4:57 pm #1117848Hello Ismael,
it’s great, every reported visual bug is fixed!
Thanks a lot for your support :).One last question regarding this topic:
Will there be an error when the Update will be installed via WordPress because of the manual change in enfold/js/shortcodes.js?Kind regards,
AlexanderJuly 12, 2019 at 7:35 am #1117944Hi Alexander,
If you edited the parent theme directly then it will be overwritten on updates yes, but since this will included in the next theme update it shouldn’t matter.
