RikardJanuary 22, 2017 at 9:13 pm #737011Hey Rikard.
Thanks – info below.
could you take a look at something else as well?
I am having an issue with a button I made – I am trying to make a link to here:
http://www.dfi.dk/Filmhuset/Cinemateket/Billetter-og-program/Serie.aspx?serieID=13767
but if you look at the page below you will see the top button with this url is displaying wrong (it should say “Find Billetter”) and links back to the home page in error.
It should look like the test button below it. I tested it many times and it looks fine on the preview and then when I publish it’s messed up.
??
thanks for taking a look

January 27, 2017 at 5:59 am #739204Hey!
Thank you for the update. I checked the pages above and I can’t find the vimeo link, the other “test” page does not exist. Anyway, when I added a video element, it’s not working but I can’t see any errors. Have you tried doing this without any plugins activated?
Best regards,
IsmaelJanuary 27, 2017 at 2:27 pm #739374Hey
Yes I guess I had to get around the problem by having the vimeo video load from an image link instead of having the video on that page above. I tried to reproduce this with a youtube video but it didn’t work the same way – opening in the lightbox –
is that only a vimeo option?and no, I didn’t test without plugins activated. I can try that as well. It didn’t work for you either, right?
thanks

January 31, 2017 at 7:04 am #740502Hi!
The element is working properly in our installation so it’s probably caused by a plugin or a custom modification to the theme. Did you modify any of the theme files? The “image link” workaround is a good one but we still need to know what’s causing the issue.
Regards,
IsmaelJanuary 31, 2017 at 12:04 pm #740577I made a test page below.
deactivated all plugins with no change.
I don’t think I have done anything to the theme files that would effect video.
I use links to vimeo all the time on other enfold sites with no problem!
Can you check it again?
Thanks
NancyFebruary 4, 2017 at 9:17 am #742726Hey!
Is it working if you use the default video shortcode?
// https://codex.wordpress.org/Video_Shortcode
Please use the shortcode in a text or code block. If this is not working, please post the FTP details here so that we can check the video element further.
Cheers!
IsmaelFebruary 5, 2017 at 3:24 pm #743009I added a video shortcode like you suggested. It’s showing the video now but not full size. Take a look at the link below – top is shortcode, below is the video media element.
thanks
nancyFebruary 6, 2017 at 3:17 am #743105Hi!
Please wrap the shortcode inside the following markup.
<div class="avia-video avia-video-16-9 " itemprop="video" itemtype="https://schema.org/VideoObject"><div class="avia-iframe-wrap">VIDEO SHORTCODE HERE</div></div>
Cheers!
IsmaelFebruary 6, 2017 at 10:08 am #743234Thanks I will try that – but can you see why the video element is not working for vimeo? I need to use that often, and its working fine on other sites.
February 7, 2017 at 9:36 am #743753Hey!
I’m not really sure why it’s not working but I can see this error from the js > avia.js file.
avia.js?ver=3:2163 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘ready’ of undefined
at l (avia.js?ver=3:2163)Please get a fresh copy of the file or the whole theme files then override the old one.
Best regards,
IsmaelFebruary 7, 2017 at 11:08 am #743809Hey Ismael,
I overwrote that one file but the problem continues. I tried replacing the whole theme, same issue. ??? I am running enfold on multiple sites with vimeo links without a problem. I also tried your shortcode wrap in a code block – see page below at top. It’s fullscreen but no video. This is the code I used: <div class=”avia-video avia-video-16-9 ” itemprop=”video” itemtype=”https://schema.org/VideoObject”><div class=”avia-iframe-wrap”>[video src="https://vimeo.com/194287750"]</div></div>I wonder if you could take a look at this other thread https://kriesi.at/support/topic/help-blank-admin-page-after-login/#post-743077 ? – it’s more urgent as my client now wants some updates. I could revert to an earlier backup since reading through some similar threads it seems like a problem between WP4.7 and W3total cache, but need to be up to date on WP updates. Can you see what is happening there?
thanks for your help.
