VictoriaApril 3, 2021 at 1:04 pm #1292100Hello again,
Today, I want to (automatically) update the template again via dashboard > update, NOT via ftp. Get error “Enfold – Request for download URL failed.” According to the documentation, it should also be possible without ftp. More often done with your templates in the past.
What is going on, or what to do? Perhaps you can take a look at the site (send credentials).Regards Tom

April 6, 2021 at 6:17 am #1292670Hi Tom,
It’s the Envato server which is responding with a 404 error, it’s not a theme error. Could you share your Themeforest login details with us as well, so that we can have a look at your account please?
Best regards,

April 7, 2021 at 12:33 pm #1293052Hi Ricard,
Thank you for your message.
I assume you mean login Envato, where you can also download the template?
Data is now in private.April 9, 2021 at 5:31 am #1293418Hi Tom,
Thanks for that. The login details are working, but since I’m logging in from a different location than yours, it’s asking me for a verification code which was sent to your email. I think Envato support should be able able to help you out with this more efficiently, could you try reaching out to them please?
If you need further help from us, then please share the verification code with us in private, so that we can try to access your account again.
Best regards,
RikardApril 22, 2021 at 12:17 pm #1296020Hi Rikard,
Thanks for your reply. I don’t understand what you mean. How do I get a verification code? The email address associated with envato account is (Email address hidden if logged out) .
I also installed the plugin envato market (no effect).
Strange that it doesn’t work. I used exactly the same template for another customer: http://www.maastrichtvooriedereen.nl and I can update there without any problems.
Would you look at it again please.
And let me know how I got that verification code.Thanks in advance.
TomApril 24, 2021 at 8:14 am #1296481Hi,
It should have been sent to your email after I tried logging in. I tried again just now, so it should have been sent again. It’s likely that the verification code expires within a few hours though, so again, it’s probably better if you reach out to Themeforest support for help with this.
Best regards,
RikardApril 27, 2021 at 12:27 pm #1296969Hi Rikard,
It is completely unclear to me, after a long search, how I can ask that question (support) at themeforest. Can you show me how to do that.To which email address does that code go, is that the address of the envato account? I just checked everything in email settings at envato account. Maybe that’s why it didn’t reach me. See: https://imgur.com/ZKUjYKj
I’m trying to understand as all of your other sites that I use the updates work fine every time.
Regards Tom

April 30, 2021 at 6:42 am #1297468Hi Tom,
You should be able to start a new support ticket from here: https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us
The email will be sent to the email address which you used to register your Themeforest account with. If that is not working, then you need to ask Themeforest about that as well.
Best regards,
RikardApril 30, 2021 at 11:05 am #1297507I’ll give it a try.
Is that also possible if I download the template again and put it on the server via ftp? Will all settings and extra CSS remain intact?
Thanks.By the way,
The facebook widget no longer displays Facebook information on all sites I use from enfold, some of which:https://innvenlo.nl/ (Here I have tried a test, also not visible)

May 3, 2021 at 6:46 am #1297893Hi,
Update: your settings should remain when updating via FTP, but please make sure that you backup the theme settings before you start. You can upload the new version to a separate folder first, then rename that and the old one, in order to activate the new version.
Facebook: I checked the site in private, but the Facebook widget in the footer looks fine on my end. How can we reproduce this problem?
Best regards,
RikardMay 5, 2021 at 2:28 pm #1298574Hi Ricard, thanks again.
What is the best way to make a backup. Is the plugin All-in-One WP Migration a good option?
Facebook plugin looks fine now.Regards Tom
May 5, 2021 at 3:50 pm #1298612Hi,
I highly recommend All-in-One WP Migration.

Jordan ShannonMay 13, 2021 at 1:45 pm #1300147Hello, last question. After that I will renew support.
The mails via email form to (Email address hidden if logged out) do not arrive.
When I use another address (Enter one or more email addresses, separated by commas, to which the emails should be sent) like (Email address hidden if logged out) or (Email address hidden if logged out) , these will arrive. Everything is set up correctly as far as I can see. Is not spam. I also had these problems with https://maastrichtvooriedereen.nl before. I then used another form “Formidable”, which does work.So how is it possible that Enfold’s own form does not work properly when the same address is used as in settings
Or should I perhaps use a different address in settings (administration e-mail address) and in the contact form (Email address hidden if logged out) ?
Just tried something. I now used email esther.janssen in settings (instead of info). I then used info in the email form. Unfortunately, the mails still do not arrive.Ps, the site is now online with no “new” for the domain name anymore

May 17, 2021 at 2:49 pm #1300760Hi,
Regarding the email address issue, please try the following steps.
// https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/contact-form/#my-contact-form-is-not-sending-emails-
This filter from the documentation might help.
function change_cf_from() { return " (Email address hidden if logged out) "; } add_filter('avf_form_from', 'change_cf_from', 10);
Replace the site URL with your own.
If you have any additional questions at this time we kindly ask that you open them up in a separate thread. The longer threads get in the forum, they become more difficult to support as they tend to drift off topic and they also make it troublesome for users trying to search for solutions. Keeping threads relevant to their original inquiry ensures that we can keep better track of what has been resolved and that users can more effectively find answers to similar issues they might be experiencing.
Thanks!
Best regards,
IsmaelMay 19, 2021 at 3:25 pm #1301214Thank you for your message.
One last question and then this thread ends.Code must then be:
function change_cf_from () {
return ” (Email address hidden if logged out) “;
}
add_filter (‘avf_form_from’, ‘change_cf_from’, 10);
———————————–
Or should it be (Email address hidden if logged out)
———————————–
And where exactly should this code be placed in functions.php file.Thank you so much for everything.

May 21, 2021 at 7:51 am #1301536Hi,
You can use either of the two as long as the email address is valid and contains the domain name where the message is sent from. And you can add the code at the very bottom of the functions.php file.
If you have not installed a child theme yet, we recommend installing one now, then add or move the code in the child theme’s functions.php file.

IsmaelMay 28, 2021 at 12:13 pm #1302812Thanks for all your support.
