1) How can I remove traffic counter that shows the number of visitors. This number is currently displayed publicly at the bottom of every page
2) I recently changed the main menu, and now the hovering does not appear to be working well. Is there a way to change the way the submenus are being displayed under the “videos,” table? It currently looks clunky.
3) I have contacted you before about my website moving slowly. I have taken your suggest to purchase two plugins, which are rocketspeed and image optimizer. However, I am still getting the “thinking” symbol on the homepage and on most of my pages. Do you have any other tips?
4) My blog page is not displaying the blog correctly. Can you please help? I wanted it to look like your example in the demo.August 13, 2019 at 7:13 pm #1127367Hey kgbrooklyn,
Which counter are you talking about? I am not seeing anything of the kind.
Could you please attach some screenshots of the issue?
What plugins are you talking about?

August 22, 2019 at 9:46 am #1129908Hi Paul,
The counter comes from some plugin. Here is how you can hide it:
.tptn_counter { display: none; }
What do you mean in the blog is not showing up correctly?
Yes, you can go to Appearance > Menus > choose your menu and change it as you need.

VictoriaAugust 22, 2019 at 8:14 pm #1130070Hello, where should I add the code regarding hiding the counter?
.tptn_counter {
display: none;
}Thank you for providing a link with how to add menu items. As you can see, I’ve added many menu items before so I am comfortable going to appearance > menu to add and remove menu items. – However – that is not my question. Can you please help me change the menu appearance to a drop down menu? Currently, when hovering over a menu item that has subpages, all of the subpages load in a white rectangle. Instead, how can the subpages be displayed in a vertical drop down menu?

August 22, 2019 at 9:07 pm #1130123Hi kgbrooklyn,
You can put the code in Enfold > General Styling > Quick Css, if it does not work, put into themes/enfold/css/custom.css.
As for the menu, let us check.
Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?
If you need further assistance please let us know.

You’re running old version of the theme and WordPress. You might want to update both.

August 24, 2019 at 5:14 am #1130534Hi Paul,
The update to 4.5.x has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.
After you have updated then try to activate the Classic Editor in the main page of the theme options.
Also please read this after you have updated: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/

RikardAugust 24, 2019 at 8:20 pm #1130641Which way is better? zip file via plugin or ftp? Which has had less problems?
August 24, 2019 at 8:20 pm #1130642Also, can you please help me with the blog page?
August 25, 2019 at 6:44 am #1130717Hi,
It shouldn’t matter, but if you know how to update manually via FTP then I would prefer that personally.
What exactly is the problem that you are having with your blog? Please try to be as specific as possible.

Sorry for the delay.
First thing you need to do is set the Enfold > Blog Layout > Blog Layout to “Use the advance layout builder..”. After that, you need to set the builder to debug mode so that you can copy the shortcodes that we’ll provide below.
// https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/intro-to-layout-builder/#debug-mode
Once the debug mode is activated, you’ll be able to see the actual shortcode below the advance layout builder. Just copy and paste this code in the debug mode field.
// https://pastebin.com/yhhvau2A
That is the shortcode of the demo.
If you need assistance, please let us know. But we kindly ask that you open them up in a separate thread. The longer threads get in the forum, they become more difficult to support as they tend to drift off topic and they also make it troublesome for users trying to search for solutions. Keeping threads relevant to their original inquiry ensures that we can keep better track of what has been resolved and that users can more effectively find answers to similar issues they might be experiencing.
Thanks!

September 9, 2019 at 10:03 am #1135869Hi,
Thank you for the update.
You can choose the “Number of entries per page” in the magazine element editor. Have you tried that? You can then enable the pagination afterwards.
