because only the shrink factor decides the divisors on that lines ( you can shorten out the absolute height on beginning )
your decision is only the shrink_factor now. if you like to shrink 5 times ( f.e. from 100px to 20px) the divisior on line 76 is 5
on line 64 the divisor is 5 / (5-1) = 1.25March 7, 2021 at 11:33 pm #1286254Hello everybody since Today i have a problem with my header to. But i dit not change anything. The logo at my “Shrinking fixed header” do not change the size. it is smal al the time.

March 8, 2021 at 9:38 pm #1286555what enfold version have you installed.
what WordPress Version is it.
since Wp 5.6 there is jQuery 3.5.1 – but newest Enfold (since 4.8) this should be no problem anymoreMarch 9, 2021 at 3:49 am #1286609Hi Axel,
Sorry for the problem. I see that you are running an old version of the theme, could you try to update to the latest version (4.8.1) to see if that helps please? The update to 4.8.x has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.
Also please read this after you have updated: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/
Best regards,
RikardMarch 9, 2021 at 7:42 am #1286636By the way Rikard – that little Plugin “Update Themes and Plugins from zip file” was in former times the instrument of choice if I wanted to execute smaller updates – otherwise I have always executed the updates over ftp.
Since I also initially had the 4.8 on it I thought that I will now install the 4.8.1 in this way. In the meantime, this plugin is included in the new WP (5.6.x) versions, which is why you no longer need this plugin with the newer WordPress versions.
So WordPress notices even when uploading a theme zip files, whether it is an existing theme and you can then decide for the update procedure.March 9, 2021 at 1:12 pm #1286693Hi,
@Guenni007 thanks for your input! Yes, plugin is no longer needed to upload themes and plugins as zip files :)Best regards,
YigitMarch 9, 2021 at 8:01 pm #1286891Thank You. Now it works:-)
April 3, 2023 at 4:44 pm #1403423Hi,
It was working fine. But now that I have udgraded PHP version to 8.2 it gives me an error:
Warning: Undefined variable $vn in /home/clients/464ab434df4e26a0e5610929e267f33d/sites/wp-content/themes/enfold-child-copie/functions.phpI have done all updates (WordPress 6.2, Enfold 5.5).
Do you know what’s wrong?
April 3, 2023 at 5:03 pm #1403425Hey @mica_konrad,
This option was added to the Enfold theme options > Header > Header Behavior (https://i.imgur.com/ieg8bL8.png) in Enfold 5.5. You no longer need to use custom code for it.
Cheers!
YigitApril 3, 2023 at 5:05 pm #1403428ok thanks !
That great, it works fine! It will be much easier now.
