    Hi Support –

    I had added the slider on homepage.
    I tried adding again – Edit page -plugin addition-Fullwidth revolution slider -select the slider but it doesn’t work and doesn’t show up. Now temporarily I have added code block & added slider code to make it work. It is taking much longer to load (especially on mobile).

    Hey TLPLindseyMuchka,

    So the slider is working but you’re saying the site becomes slow because of it? If so then what are you measuring the site load speed with?

    Hi! The plugin Fullwidth Slider is not working. I put it on the layout but it doesn’t show when previewed or live. I am using the code box as work around.

    Also, I’ve used Google Page Insights and our site is Yellow (desktop) and Red (mobile). I am working on those recommendations but I’m not if they are due to slider concerns?

    Hi,

    First off, could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.6.3.1) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update. Also please update your PHP version to 7.1 or higher.

    Apologies on the delay… we had some issues with backup and configuration confirmation. I’ve updated the theme and updated PHP to 7.1 this morning. Please confirm next steps. Thank you!!
