    Good morning,

    Our brokerage is looking to have a brokerage-only accessible site through WordPress with Theme by Kriesi. If we moved forward, we are wondering if it would be possible to have the site password protected, or only accessible by certain email addresses granted permission? Also if we can disable downloading capability on added content to protect our resources and keep them in-house.

    I believe what you are looking for is a functionality of a membership plugin.

    This support article doesn’t seem to address my question at all. We are wondering how we would be able to password-protect the site access and ensure documents on site are non-downloadable.

    Hi Brianna,

    There is no such functionality in the theme by default unfortunately. You would have to use third party plugins or code in order to implement what you are looking for. The plugin Nikko linked to will enable you to protect your content to only certain user types for example.

    If you are looking to simply password protect the site, then there are more than one plugin offering such functionality. You can also do that via the .htaccess file on your server.
