Hi,
I had problems with my IG so I´ve been following some threads and have flush my cache but nothing happened. Then I saw that I dodn´t have the latest update and put my API key to update and it says:

Warning: Illegal string offset ‘api_error’ in /home/conecta0/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/framework/php/auto-updates/class-envato-protected-api.php on line 307

Please help, I have almost 0 knolwdge and do´t understand FTP and all of that.

Sorry for the problem. Please send us a temporary WordPress admin login and login URL so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply. Also, what exactly do you mean by IG?

Hi,

Thanks for the login details. I see that you are running an old version of the theme, could you try to update to the latest version (4.6.3.1) to see if that helps please? The update to 4.6.x has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541

You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/

If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.

Hi, I did this but my instagram it´s still not working. Can you plese check it? it´s the same info I passed to you before. I also tried to change the letter size in the submenu of the header and it wouldn´t let me.

Hi,

Thank you for the update.

There are some changes in the Instagram platform and its API, which affects the scraping method that is currently in use in the widget. We will probably change how the widget works in the future but for now, you may need to use one of the following plugins.
