Hi,
It seems since the last Update our Sliders on http://atverfassung.projects.kiwi/ did not work correctly anymore on MacOS 10.15.1 / Safari 13.0.3. See Screenshot here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/idlym1s7uqxir78/atverfassung-safari.png?dl=0. On Firefox on it is still fine.

LayerSlider WP Support come back with:
“Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I’m happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we’ve been working towards your ticket.I’ve checked on your site and the slider fails in Safari with a JS error. This JS error is generated in your theme files, and blocks additional scripts on site. This is why the slider (and other things) do not work properly. Please contact the author of your theme regarding case. They should be able to address this error in their product. Once it’s gone, the slider will be back to normal. ”

Could you please replace /enfold/js/avia-snippet-cookieconsent.js file with this one – https://github.com/KriesiMedia/enfold-library/blob/master/temp_fixes/Enfold_4_6_3/avia-snippet-cookieconsent.js and flush browser cache?

I korrected the JS File.
But now when I update Enfold to a New Version, I got an error:
“An error occurred while updating Enfold: The update cannot be installed because we will be unable to copy some files. This is usually due to inconsistent file permissions. js/avia-snippet-cookieconsent.js.orig”
So i deleted the file js/avia-snippet-cookieconsent.js.orig and try to update again. But the error persist, like somehow the Update Mechanism did not check again.
Any hints ?

I have got the same Problem. Since the last Update our Sliders on http://ml-design.de did not work correctly anymore on MacOS. I had replace the code in /enfold/js/avia-snippet-cookieconsent.js – it doesent work. What can I do?
Did you check avia-snippet-cookieconsent.js if it is correct?
I did two mistakes first:
First, I did a wget on https://github.com/KriesiMedia/enfold-library/blob/master/temp_fixes/Enfold_4_6_3/avia-snippet-cookieconsent.js , but this contains than information from github.
Than I copy&paste the code but did it wrong so that CR/LF comes in, destroying part of the JS.
After I ensure, the file was correct, deletes my Browser Cache and the Minified JS Cache in WordPress (Using WP Fastest Cache), it was working again. I used the same patch on two others Servers, where after an update the same problem occurs and it fixed it too.

I have the same issue with the layerslider on Safari. The version 12 and 13 is not showing the layerslider on Mac and not on Iphone. The problem is I did not understand the answer from Victiria. I have to copy the code and to replace it with the /enfold/js/avia-snippet-cookieconsent.js? I have to to this in Child Theme or in the Parent Theme?

ClaudiaI did not have a Child Theme, so I replaced it for now in the Parent Theme.
you copy the complete file using sftp or ftp and replace it in this location.

And to call the file like this: avia-snippet-cookieconsent.jsBut where I can replace the file in Appearance> Editor (Design>Theme-Editor?)? I am working with a child Theme

Please go to Appearance > Editor and choose Enfold theme from top right corner (because file is in parent theme) and then click on “js” folder from the list on the right and replace the content with: https://github.com/KriesiMedia/enfold-library/blob/master/temp_fixes/Enfold_4_6_3/avia-snippet-cookieconsent.js :)

YigitIt looks like there are additional errors with the jquery.js file too. This is happening only in Safari for me.
