i want to use a different permalink structure for the custom post type “portfolio”. I want to use / lexikon / instead of / portfolio /. Unfortunately, the settings in the permalinks setting do not work. I checked htaccess and saved it several times.

Can you please have a look.

    Thanks Chris

    Hey Chris_85,

Thanks for the login details. First off, could you try updating the theme to the latest version ( to see if that helps please?

    Best regards,

Hi, updated… permalinks settings still not work. Would be nice if you can have a look closer.

Thanks for the update. I tried logging in but the details you posted are not working anymore, please check and verify.

    Best regards,

Thanks for that update, I must have copied the password wrong yesterday, the details are working. I tried activating the parent theme, and the permalinks work as they should after that. Could you try removing all your customisations in the child theme and add them back one by one to see which customisation is causing the problem please?

    Best regards,

thanks! it has something to do with the custom post type changes. I made changes so that this custom post type is called “lexikon” and no longer Portfolio. Is it possible for both to work? Maybe change the permalinks first, then make the changes in the ChildTheme?

    Best regards

    Hi Chris,

I’m not sure I understand your last question. The portfolio name change worked after I activated the parent theme, so one of your customisations has to break that functionality. Did you find out which one it was?

    Best regards,
