    Hi.

    Due to the performance update, I’m trying to speed up my site. Unfortunately it doesn’t work well. The results of the google pagespeed insights are bad. I use the recommended settings in the most cases.

    There’s another article that should help you speed up the site and get the highest score possible. It will show you how to optimize the images, leverage browser cache, eliminate render-blocking scripts and more. It also explains why you should not worry about the score that much.

    Hi, i need help
    Few minuts ago i updated my theme to 4.4.x, change to file merging and compression (CSS and Javascript), selected the option load elements that are used, checked Load jQuery in your footer and Load google fonts in footer and also checked the option Delete old CSS and JS files, but my result on PageSpeed Insights is the same. My url is below.

    Hi,

    You may need to use additional performance plugins like W3 Total Cache or Above the Fold Optimization to increase the score. The theme’s performance options can help improve the site’s speed but you won’t get the highest possible score without using additional plugins.

    Hi,

    Did you try the “Above the Fold Optimization” plugin? That should help with the “render-blocking” issue. You can also disable the theme’s compression plugin and use the Autoptimize plugin instead. Maybe, you’ll get better results with that.
