So on my site (all of a sudden) pages are not converting to mobile friendly pages. In the past, a color section with 2 1/2 column sections would convert to actually be 2 seperate rows on mobile devices.. NOW, it is just doing 2 columns on mobile.. This is super UN-user friednly.. and is only in effect on some of my pages..
(home page converts fine but the exact same effects on a different page (https://www.b2bdataguy.com/academy) for example – look like garbage.
Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong here?
April 23, 2019 at 9:52 am #1093591Hey andrewtrentor,
Sorry for the problem. Could you try to update to the latest version of the theme (4.5.6) to see if that helps please? The update to 4.5.x has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
If that doesn’t work then please delete the old version of the theme, then upload the new one. Make sure that you have backups of the site before you start updating.
Also please read this after you have updated: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/
Best regards,
RikardApril 23, 2019 at 5:48 pm #1093712Frick – is there a way I can just pay for this to be done? I don’t want to lose anything here.
April 24, 2019 at 8:04 pm #1094142Hi andrewtrentor,
You can make a full back up of the website and so you will not lose anything, you’ll be able to restore it.
Best regards,
