    What can we do with this:

    Thank you for the inquiry.

    The site contains a very old version of the theme (3.8), which is no longer supported and is not compatible with the current version of WordPress. You have to upgrade the theme to version 4.8.6.1 via FTP because the automatic update will no longer work in the current version (3.8).

    If you can’t get access to the account which was used to purchase the theme, then you will have to purchase another license.

    Hi,

    Yes, you have to purchase a new license if you do not have access to the account that was used to purchase the theme, or if you do not have the purchase code. Once you have purchased a new license using a different Themeforest account, you have to download the theme and update the installation manually via FTP.

    You can also use the purchase code to register an account in the forum.

    The automatic update in the Theme Options should work again after upgrading the theme to version 4.8.6.1 but it will require a personal token. Here is how you can obtain one.

    Hi,
    I bought a new license and performed the updates as discussed. Now there are only error messages on the page. You have to call up the pages multiple times for something to work. The Avia Layout Architect doesn’t always work either. Can you check it out, please?

    Did you override anything in the child theme? You may need to update those files as well.

    Sorry for the delay. We only require an FTP account, not the access to the cpanel. Please ask your hosting provider to generate a new FTP account, then post the login details in the private field.

    You should also enable the debug log so that we can check for errors.

    Thank you for the update.

    We can now access the server but the FTP account above leads us to an empty directory. Please ask your hosting provider to adjust the FTP account and make sure that it has the correct permissions to access the root directory of the WordPress installation.

    Did you modify any templates in the child theme directory? Try to disable those modifications temporarily. And if you have the time, please set your installation to debug mode so that we can see the errors.

    Hello, After the update everything worked. You could change the texts and the website was online without any error messages. The website has now been inoperable and unavailable for over a week. the theme builder does not work again, the same errors as before the update are only worse.

    Thank you for your patience and for the cPanel login above, I was able to remove your old header.php and moved your GTM script that was in the old header.php to your child theme functions.php and your site seems to be working fine now. I tested by editing and saving your homepage and found no error, please clear your browser cache and check.
