Good morning, I have been an Envato user for 5 years and I am very happy with the service.
For a few weeks now I have been trying to scale my business and create an additional line of business. For this it was necessary to create a subdomain and of course, use Enfold for my site. What has caused me some problems because for 2 days, everything is simply deleted every time I update with some new information. To solve it I must run a backup of 4 days ago and I cannot add anything new
As I see on my wordpress platform the theme is updated to its latest version and there is no error warning
I contacted the hosting provider and cpanel but they tell me that everything works correctly and I have all the updates correctly installed

The login link that you shared goes to a 404 page. How do we login?

In principle it is important to know that there is no error alert. There is nothing to indicate that something is wrong.
On the other hand, it is difficult to explain but I will try. I was working on one of the Enfold templates, I made perfect progress making substitutions of texts and images, but suddenly I made a modification of a text, I updated to see what the site looked like and I realized that it was in the middle, all after the second content block was deleted. One of the last things I did was an integration with a Mailchimp form. From that moment I have not been able to make any changes.
The only thing I do is run the last backup where the complete site is so that the information can be seen but I have not been able to create the contact page or add the links that I need for that

Please check the page and the content that you’re adding for the unclosed html tags. It’s the most common cause of the issue that you’re experiencing.

It is not possible that it took 3 days to respond, but also the response is poor and incomplete. There might be some corrupted files, so please delete all theme files completely via FTP, before installing a fresh copy from your ThemeForest account. Here is a short tutorial on how to install the theme via FTP, in case you are not sure how that works.

The package could not be unzipped. The theme does not have the style.css style sheet.
The theme installation failed.

From the first moment that I communicate, I sent them the access data of the site, I thought they would enter and they would try to see what the error is. I have already reviewed all the possibilities of errors and everything is perfectly the only thing left is you. The theme does not work with loading from wordpress nor does loading from FTP work.

5. Update my site

Yes, of course, if you can activate Enfold, I had to change the theme because I couldn’t solve the problem. The domain where the problem is in sanitize.panamafullservice.com and the internal page is called Landing Page. But the problem not only happened with the landing page but with the entire site.
July 1, 2020 at 5:47 am #1227088I just activated Enfold and ran the last Back Up with the entire page. If you enter and try to make any modification and update you will notice that more than half of the content of the site disappears. I increased the PHP storage space in the Hosting to 512MB and it has all the updates.

I am pretty sure issue is related to broken HTML tags as Victoria suggested earlier. I attached a screenshot from your landing page where you can see there are 3 Strong opening tags and no closing tag :)
Correct way of using Strong tags would be as following
<strong>Here is my strong text!</strong>
I edited your landing page and corrected all Strong tags so you should not have the same issue again, as long as you make sure you open and close HTML tags correctly.

July 1, 2020 at 7:13 pm #1227319I do not know what more details can I give of what is happening. Supposedly you already fixed the problem and it had something to do with the use of the strong code. I would understand that this is true if only the blocks where there are strong codes were deleted but everything is deleted, I cannot add anything new, I cannot use the integration links with Mailchimb, if I add YouTube videos and update it is completely deleted. I no longer know what to do and I do not know what else to say, there is no alert that tells me what is wrong, there is no tutorial with a description similar to what is happening to me. This is really frustrating. I bought this demo because I thought it was the best in presentation and web services but I think I am sorry for having paid for the theme and worse still having to pay an additional for a support like this, slow and with little desire to help…..
I really don’t know what to do for this to have a solution. I already spent a lot of money and I can’t just pay for another theme

I enabled debugging mode – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/intro-to-layout-builder/#debug-mode and found more broken Strong tags.
When you are editing your page, are you adding Strong tags? If you are, are you making sure they are opened and closed correctly as following?<strong>Here is my strong text!</strong>
I deleted broken tags and tried adding new elements to the page and updating and there is no issue right now. If you keep the page open and edit, you might be overwriting the changes I made. So please go to Landing page, refresh a couple of times and then try editing.
