After theme update to Endold 4.7.6.3 Layout Builder is not loading properly (see screenshot). WordPress is up to date, PHP also.
If I switch the editor to standard and back, ALB it is loaded. However, it doesn’t work properly. For example, texts are not displayed in the editor (see screenshot).

Thanks for giving us admin access.
I checked the page in the screenshot and the Advanced Layout Builder is showing however the page itself is not loading some CSS (see screenshot in private content).
Can you try to set max_execution_time to 240? let us know if this helps.Best regards,

Increasing the max_execution_time does not change anything. I don’t think it’s the server either. The ALL-INKL premium package performed well before the update – why not after the update?Hello Victoria,

Thanks for the update. The Layout Builder is loading fine on my end now on the page in private, and the text blocks are working as well. If you don’t see that on your end then please try using a different browser, or an incognito/private window to see if that helps. If I’m looking at the wrong page then please link to it directly in private.

Of course I already check the site in different browsers and systems Also with flushed cache and private mode. I get this errors:
Failed to load resource: net::ERR_CONNECTION_CLOSED /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php:1 Failed to load resource: net::ERR_CONNECTION_CLOSED wp-includes/js/tinymce/themes/modern/theme.min.js?wp-mce-49100-20200624:1… that’s why I restarted my internet router. My internet connection is stable and has no problems with other WP installations. I also deactivated the WP Firewall (Wordfence Security). What else can I do?

Thanks for the update. I still can’t see any problems on my end on the page I previously linked to in private, does the problem happen on that page on your end as well? If not then please link directly to a page where the problem happens on. Also, do we need to do anything in particular to reproduce the error?

Victoria has already found out that there are errors in the console (see above).
Failed to load resource: net :: ERR_CONNECTION_CLOSED
which I also mentioned again (see above). All pages in the WordPress backend that use ALB do not work. We can agree on the page Victoria has already analyzed:

…simply open this page to reproduce the error (see my first post).I figured it out for myself – it was PHP 7.4 – obviously, enfold is not compatible with PHP 7.4.

We’re glad to hear that, you might be using the recently released versions of PHP 7.4 (7.4.9 or 7.4.10).
Rest assured our theme should be fully compatible with these recently released PHP versions once newer versions of Enfold is released.
