Hi,
I’d like to import these shop demosUsing the WP Importer to import shop.xml to a remote staging wp install running Enfold
The file is from my local wp-content > themes > enfold > includes > admin > demo_filesThe importer produced a list of failed import items
Is this the correct demo files for the above mentioned shop layout and pages?
Why does the import fail?I don’t have a xampp installed locally to use as an alternative import method as mentioned here
Thank you!

Thank you for the inquiry.
Those pages are from the Enfold 2017 demo, so you have to import that demo in order to get those pages. The actual name of the demo file is enfold-2017.xml if you would like to import it manually as described in the documentation.
You could also use the following shortcodes if you only need the elements in those pages.
custom-shop: https://wtools.io/paste-code/b3uo
The calligraphy-set product page is using the default product template or the default editor.

I managed to import the Enfold 2017 from Options>Import.
However, although I Exported and then re imported my theme settings, not all settings were preserved after import. One of the things is that a lot pf demo pages now show a message inside an element: ‘Admin notice for: This element was disabled with theme option‘ some on sliders and some on other elements.
– Where in Theme Options do I reactivate those to remove this message?
– In Pages there are now multiple imported pages with the same title, different publish dates. Is there a way to clean them up in bulk or have to trash them one by one from Pages?
– I am not sure I understood how to use the following shortcodes if you only need the elements in those pages. as you wrotecustom-shop: https://wtools.io/paste-code/b3uo
Also,
– Seems the custom-shop page and the product page require woo commerce to be installed?
Product-slider and elements are not available without it, instead a shortcode code is displayed in the builder elementThanks for your help,
February 8, 2021 at 5:49 am #1278532Hi,
Thank you for the update.
1.) The option is located in the Enfold > Performance > Disable Template Builder Elements section. Try to set the Disabling of template builder elements to the first option. You could also set the builder to debug mode to enable the shortcode parser, which automatically repairs shortcode if necessary. The elements are probably not displaying as they should because they were added using the old version of the builder.
2.) Did you import the demo more than once? You may have to reset the database in order to remove those pages, then import the demo once again.
// https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-reset/
// https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-database-reset/3.) We forgot to mention that you will have to set the builder to debug mode in order to insert the shortcodes manually in the shortcode field, which will show up below the actual builder when the debug mode is enabled. Just use the snippet provided in the following documentation.
// https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/intro-to-layout-builder/#debug-mode

eventually I created a product page from scratchand yes, there were duplicate pages which I manually deleted
Do I still need to clean the database?February 9, 2021 at 12:16 pm #1279024 -
