    Hi

    We already have a lot of Enfold websites, every few months we create a new one, and basically we are happy with it.

    So far, the speed of the websites has not really bothered us. But now we need to create a landing page that is quick.

    The problem is, there the loading of the main.js takes between 2 and 3 seconds. Can we optimize that? We already use the caching and optimizing plugins WP Super Cache and Autooptimize (with default settings).

    Can you help us? We need trick, hints, help for optimizing the speed of our Enfold websites…

    At the moment, we want to speed up this landing page, but in future we like to optimize the whole website and also all other Enfold websites to speed up them…

    Hi Mike,

    There is no file called main.js in the theme, and I can’t see a file called that being loaded on your site either. Did you manage to find a solution to this problem?

    I looked deeper into it and saw, that this main.js is something of the Antivirus-Plugin of the browser.
    But anyway, we need some hints, how to speed up Enfold websites in general.
    Which settings do you recommend, which speed up plugins do you recommend, what tricks could we use…

    Thanks for the update. Please refer to this article to get some advice on how to speed up your site: https://kriesi.at/archives/scoring-100-100-in-google-pagespeed-insights-gtmetrix-pagespeed-and-yslow

    We don’t really have any recommendations as to which caching or performance plugin to use, as they tend to work differently on different sites. I would recommend that you simply test the plugins of your choice out on your actual site, to see if they work or not.
