I want to stop loading the css and js files which are not in my website’s use. Is there any way to see which files are requested or used when my website is loaded. I have recently installed a plugin Asset CleanUp, from which i can stop loading unnecessary files on my webite.
It will be great if i can get any solution to this, as the theme loads more than 90 files when website is opened. I am trying to reduce the requests and website size.
October 20, 2020 at 12:09 pm #1254327Hi,
Thanks for contacting us!
Please go to Enfold theme options > Performance > Disabling of template builder elements and choose “Load only used elements” and that should help with that :)
Cheers!

October 26, 2020 at 6:40 am #1255622Hi,
Thank you for the inquiry.
Have you tried updating the page after enabling the option? This should rebuild the element index and include the mailchimp element in the list of enabled elements. If updating did not work, try to remove the mailchimp element from the page, update the page, add the element back, then update the page again. This should not be necessary but it usually helps to rebuild the element index.
We could also try the solution in the following thread.

IsmaelOctober 26, 2020 at 12:32 pm #1255683I tried all the above steps, and also tried updating the code that was mentioned in the aricle you shared. None of the options worked for me. Everything works well, only mailchimp widget is not visible. Any other solutions please !

The login account is not working or is not valid. Please check the info carefully.
Did you enable the Performance > File Compression settings? This will overrule the previous option, so the theme will still load all assets for every elements or shortcodes. To further optimize the site, please check the article below.

Thank you for the update.
We enabled the “Load only used elements” option, then created a temporary page with the Mailchimp Signup element but we did not encounter the same issue. The signup element displays properly in the page. Please check the private field.
Best regards,
