Good afternoon
I am having trouble with the links in main content, and the buttons in widget areas and also on the contact form, when you hover over them they turn white (either the button or the text), so you can no longer see what they say
I have tried changing the set colour in general and advanced styling but it doesn’t make any difference.
Please could you advise how to resolve this? Many thanks,
January 18, 2020 at 11:39 pm #1175938Hey LizSomerville,
I’m trying to find a link within your main content and can’t. Can you screenshot an area where the issue occurs?
Best regards,
Jordan ShannonJanuary 21, 2020 at 12:57 pm #1176695Hi Apologies, i’m having trouble inserting a screen shot – https://vpmconnected.wpengine.com/consultancy/ on this page where it says get in touch on the second sentence.
Also on the contact us page, the submit form button turns white as do the newsletter sign up buttons on the home page, news and blog pages.Thank you
January 21, 2020 at 1:44 pm #1176717Hey,
I just checked your website and it seems like you have figured it out already? :) Attached screenshots in private content field below.
After making styling changes, please make sure to flush cache and refresh your page a few times :)
Best regards,
YigitJanuary 21, 2020 at 2:14 pm #1176731Hi, it is not fixed on my desktop. It is fine on mobile and tablet though.
January 21, 2020 at 2:16 pm #1176732Hey,
Have you seen the screenshots i attached in private content field? I am attaching it once again.
Is this how you would like it to look? If so and you do not see it as in my screenshots, it must be cache. Please try refreshing your browser window with CTRL + Shift + R on Windows and CMD + Shift + R on Mac.
Cheers!
YigitJanuary 21, 2020 at 2:39 pm #1176743Thank you very much – it is fixed after all, apologies, for wasting your time…
I do have another query – is there a simple way of making the thumbnail in a widget area larger? The thumbnails on the links to the blogs using the latest news widget are really small and have a white border around them.Thank you

No worries at all :)

YigitJanuary 21, 2020 at 3:09 pm #1176768Thank you I will take a look. I have not created a child theme as I hadn’t envisaged having to make many changes to the theme. Should I do so? Or if i do it now will i lose everything I have already done?
January 21, 2020 at 3:11 pm #1176770Hey,
No, you will not. You can simply go to – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/child-theme/ to download pre-built Enfold child theme. After installing and activating it, you can go to Enfold child theme options > Import & Export tab and import parent theme settings :)
Cheers!
YigitJanuary 21, 2020 at 5:30 pm #1176849Hi, I installed the child theme and imported parent theme settings, but it didn’t work properly and I need it live and lookign perfect by tomorrow so reinstalled the parent theme, but now all of my text has turned black and various parts of the site have a random green overriding the set colours or elements.
January 21, 2020 at 5:40 pm #1176851Hi,
I checked your website and it looks fine on my end. Attached a screenshot in private content field. Could you please post screenshots as well and show the issue? :)
Best regards,
YigitJanuary 21, 2020 at 5:50 pm #1176860It seems to be acting very strangely as it has been looking normal after I reset the parent theme, and then suddenly started looking odd, but now fine again.
If i do re install the child theme why would it make everything in the wrong colour scheme, is there a way to stop this from happening?
