I want my fixed bacground images to work on mobile devices just like they do on the desktop. If Squarespace can do it enfold should be able to do it.
Check it out on squarespace on mobile:

To enable parallax in mobile please refer to this post by Ismael https://kriesi.at/support/topic/parallax-not-working-for-ipad-and-iphone/#post-607122

No, the parallax script will not be enabled on fixed backgrounds. :)

April 25, 2016 at 6:42 am #621012Hey!
Set the background attachment to fixed instead of parallax. We checked the page and the fixed background is working on mobile view. The square space demo is using the parallax effect.

IsmaelApril 25, 2016 at 6:55 am #621018It is set to fixed – but it just scrolls with the page on mobile devices… whereas the http://www.800degreespizza.com is fixed on mobile devices.

I’m sorry but I can’t reproduce the issue. Could you please provide a short clip of the page? The background attachment of the section is set to fixed even on mobile. If you want the squarespace effect, set the attachment to parallax then follow the modification on the previous thread.

Regards,
IsmaelApril 25, 2016 at 5:16 pm #621510I changed one section to Parallax and I followed the steps in the post you mention and it doesn’t work at all like http://www.800degreespizza.com. 800 degrees has a true fixed background that stays in ONE FIXED spot – with NO PARALLAX effect at all.
The fixed background works great on desktop devices – but doesn’t work at all on mobile. If a free website can do it… enfold should be able to do it…
Thanks

IsmaelNovember 4, 2016 at 11:45 am #708141Hey,
I am struggling with the same issue on my site. I want to make Color Section background images fixed also on mobile. They work perfect on desktop but on mobile the picture just “moves” when scrolling. Is there any solutions for this? Thanks!

I’m not sure if there is but send us a link to your site and we’ll have a closer look.

I checked on mobile, but the very first image is fixed and behaved for me like on desktop. Please clear browser cache and hard refresh a few times or could you fix it already?Best regards,
AndyOctober 30, 2018 at 2:21 am #1027800I am having exactly the same issue and I have been digging the forum to find the solution, but so far, nothing works.
The background image of the attached page stays fixed on mobile but scrolls on mobile devices.
Is there any solution to this?
