I have a client that came to me for help with their wordpress site. I didn’t develop it. Someone else did so I don’t have any kind of purchase codes and neither does the client in order to sign up for a forum account so PLEASE don’t delete this email.
It seems they are using the Enfold theme that someone tried to privately brand as their own. There’s no way to update it although the system asks for the themeforest login / info. Additionally the Avia Layout Builder never fully loads so they are unable to make edits.
They would like to stay with the same layout but need the Avia Layout Builder fixed.
Do you think (in looking at the site) if we purchased the Enfold Theme that it would take care of our issues with the Avia Builder?
Just trying to figure out what direction to recommend to the client.

Yes, the theme is Enfold however previous developers has changed themes name through parent theme. We would have recommended using a child theme instead – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#why-child-theme
Since they changed themes name, we would recommend you to go to Enfold theme options > Import & Export tab and export your current theme options, then update the theme and after that you can import your current theme options in the same tab.
Since theme is modified, we cannot really tell which version your client is using however since currently there are not such issues, updating the theme should fix the issue – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#reinstall-or-update-using-ftp
In case it does not, please register to our support forum – https://kriesi.at/support/register/ and start a new thread under Enfold sub forum so we can look into it :)

YigitJust wanted to let you know that your instructions were perfect. I was able to install the purchased Enfold theme, import the settings and now the client is all set. Thank you again for your help.
