Hi!
Upon request, we have added Enfold changelog to Enfold documentation for users who would like to see the changes in details. Changelog can be found on Enfold’s ThemeForest page and in version.txt file which is included in theme folder as well.
Cheers!
YigitDecember 12, 2016 at 5:49 pm #723253HI Yigit, the changelog hasn’t been updated with 3.8.2 details yet. I assume that is later today? It would be great if when you guys update you start a new thread titled with the update (“Enfold 3..8.2”) and sticky it at the top of the support forum so we can quickly see what’s changed. I know you are experimenting with various ways of maintaining the changelog…. thanks again.
Thanks!!!! :)
December 12, 2016 at 5:54 pm #723259December 12, 2016 at 6:31 pm #723286Great. We just updated and the site seems to be working fine. We are holding off on WordPress 4.7 until January. Happy holidays!
December 12, 2016 at 6:39 pm #723292February 5, 2017 at 11:22 am #742972Hi Yigit,
Is there a place to see what files exactly are changed? In my experience the best way to update is via FTP, for very small updates (such as 3.8.5) it would be easier do change just the updated file instead of updating the complete enfold folder.
Thanks! Daniel
February 5, 2017 at 11:53 am #742975Hi,
Please view the change log here http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/ or in the version.txt file included in the download package.
It’s not recommended to update individual files manually due to human error it can crash the site. We recommend using the update option provided in the theme.
Best regards,
VinayFebruary 6, 2017 at 8:57 am #743211Hi Vinay,
Thanks! If I check the link or version.txt I can see a detailed list of all updates, but not the specific files. Am I missing something?
(The updated option in the theme gave me more headaches than a manual update.)

DanielFebruary 6, 2017 at 11:55 am #743282Hi Daniel,
Changes were made in enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/php/html-helper.class.php file in Enfold 3.8.5.

YigitFebruary 13, 2017 at 12:00 pm #746324Hi,
I would like to suggest you guys to create a roadmap of the functions or options that are planned to include in the nearest release. I took a look at the feature request page but none of the suggestions are considered for future implementation. Enfold is a great theme but it needs a bigger upgrade to keep it up on the top. A lot of themes are changed and many other frameworks are getting more and more exciting. As you can see in the feature requests, most of the users including me would really love to have improved mobile menu layout, and other options. Please consider this suggestion. Keep up the good work!

YigitMarch 20, 2017 at 6:39 pm #763740Hi,
Not a lot of point having a changelog if you don’t update it!
The changelog is now several versions behind……
March 20, 2017 at 6:45 pm #763741Hey!
I have asked Yigit and Vinay to take a look and try to update it based on the files changed.
Thank you
Cheers!

March 28, 2017 at 9:21 pm #768440Hey!
Kriesi is working to make a 3rd release in the past 2 days, for layer slider.
We do appreciate the patience and for keeping us updated. Thanks a lot
Cheers!
BasilisMarch 29, 2017 at 12:18 am #768512I still don’t understand this topic when it comes to Enfold. Aren’t developers supposed to release the changelog when they drop the corresponding software? I don’t know what being busy with bugs has to do with anything. It takes 2 minutes to say “xyz” has been added/removed/updated/etc.
Furthermore, if you released a changelog properly, people would know what to look for…potentially. I know if I see “LayerSlider” anywhere in a changelog…that I should be prepared for stuff to break…even if it doesn’t.

YigitMay 16, 2017 at 9:35 am #793770Hello,
It might be the wrong thread to ask this, but can we expect the next update soon? We have a few bugs from the last update that are starting to become a little nerve-wracking, and since it’s been more than a month since the last update, I’m curious as to when we can expect the next one.
Best regards,
MMay 16, 2017 at 1:23 pm #793906Hi m9491,
