Hi everybody, I tried to read all the threads I could find.
However, I am not progressing with my problem.I already tried 2 things.
From Enfold 2.5.2 to make an update to 4.5.
And a new installation of 4.5.
I have also installed the plugin: Update Theme and Plugins from Zip File
Once 4.5 is activated, the entire website is no longer accessible. Only when I delete the folder with 4.5 with FTP and replace it with 2.5 I have access to the website.

Thank you I followed the sticky post outline and everything worked out accordingly.
I did have an issue with the generated tokens. Although they were generated correctly,
I had a notification window that told me the tokens were not connecting with envato.
I have a feeling I may just have my themes/item purchase code mismatched, little trouble keeping themes to websites in order?

Which version of php are you running?
You need to be running at least php5.6.3 for code to work properly.

@angeleliq I have taken a look at your site and see that you are using Enfold v3.5.2.
We can assist, but since you say that you have tried to update via ftp, and it’s not showing, I would like to take a look at your directory with ftp to see what is going on.

I’m going to update to 4.5.1 on a client’s site
Installed a new personal Token, checked the Token and it works.. Check for updates and get the following error:
Errors occured checking on 2018/12/08 16:59:
Download Package URL: Errorcode 403 returned by Envato: Forbidden:
– response_code: 403
– reason: scope-missing
Download Package URL: A problem occured accessing your download link. Unable to perform update.Any ideas..? Thanks

Some user reported, that validating the token only works in incognito mode for them. One reason could be, that Envato stores cookies with login data/connection data in the browser and therefore might block requests.

The error “Download failed. A valid URL was not provided” is because you are using Enfold 4.4.1, please see this post on updating.For text being white on white, do you mean the “preview” of the text element, or the text element it self?
Please see the screenshot in Private Content area.
I believe this is because you are using Enfold 4.4.1 with WordPress 5, but there is a similar issue with Enfold 4.5.1, where a error message shows in the preview window.
The dev team is working on this now, and the temp solution is the use the Classic Editor plugin.Best regards,

I have downloaded the Plugin you suggested and re-uploaded the theme and am on 4.5.1 and I cannot update my token? I have tried both the purchase code and and new API key to no avail? Can you please assist?

We have just released Enfold v4.5.2 which includes a patch for the updater that in some cases was pinging the Envato API too often.
Perhaps your 403 was related to this.Best regards,
MikeDecember 19, 2018 at 4:27 pm #1047229HI @Mike.. But the fault is on Envato or Enfold side..? I’ve opened yesterday a support ticket with Envato and they answered “Ask to Kriesi”.. This means that I must update manually another time and is the third time that I do so..
Manual update is tricky and there’s always the possibility that some settings jumps..

Because your error is: “Last time we checked the token we were not able to connected to Envato”
Please try allowing all of the permissions for the token and create it while in incognito mode.Best regards,

I installed the plugin, downloaded te enfold theme…and then?
In my download folder there are a lot of maps so I don’t know what to activate, or activate all of them?please can you help me out?

December 21, 2018 at 5:07 pm #1048237I updated this website with FTP and iam using a the child theme. I have no problems uploading and activating. I have no shown errors, but my style os broken. The Megamenu on LOSNINGER doesnt work. The font is incorrect and some of the pages just fucks up.
The mobile version i completely a mess
Spending all day trying all versions, deleting, de-activating, following this thread – and its the last day before christmas, Iam calling moom telling her i wont come home

@Marketive sorry to hear you are having issues, please try disabling your merging options at Enfold Theme Options > Performance > JS & CSS file merging and compression, to see if that helps.Best regards,

I still have the update problem.
I get the info to use the plugin for update with the zippering file. sof far so good.
To I download the enfold only (second in row).
but there are al lot of folders en no zippering file?so please can you help me out. I have two websites with the enfold theme.
I wrk with a child theme. do I have to update the child theme or the adult one?I hopen you can help me with this,
