Hello!
The editing window on pages just loads. I think its because the version of Enfold is very old.
I work at an agency who took over a site from another agency, who built it with Enfold. Therefor we dont have the API-keys or username to update Enfold(Neither the other agency). Can i buy the theme and use the new API-key to update the version?
Edit: I bought a new API and tested in settings, and it doesnt work, but the settings says this:
Theme Updates
No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (3.4.7)Kind regards Victor

January 8, 2020 at 1:37 pm #1171427Hey Victor,
Thanks for contacting us!
Please refer to this post – https://kriesi.at/support/topic/updating-to-enfold-4-5-and-validating-personal-token/#post-1032609.
Envato has updated their API therefore you would need to manually update the theme to the latest version and then generate a Personal Token and insert it in Enfold theme options to receive future updates – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/#how-to-generate-a-envato-personal-tokenBest regards,
YigitJanuary 8, 2020 at 5:59 pm #1171539Hello. I followed your instructions, but it didnt work. I got this when i tried to upload the theme from zipfile: https://ibb.co/MN05cZh
It say: The link you just used is not valid anymore.
What should i do? Am i using the wrong version of Enfold? As i said we doesnt have the old API key, so i bought Enfold via a new account. Is that the problem?

No, that is not a problem. Please try following these steps to update the theme:

VictoriaJanuary 9, 2020 at 2:20 pm #1171812Thanks for you reply.
We made exactaly like the instructions(Locally on our computer), but the page does not look like before. Not at all. Its the enfold theme all over the page. http://www.femdagarsgolf.se <—- This is how it should look like. But on our local version its the enfold theme with all content.
When I import my theme settings i get “An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later”
What shall we do?

YigitJanuary 9, 2020 at 6:40 pm #1171909Hello! Thanks for your quick reply.
But sadly this doesnt work, as it isnt the “demo import function” thats giving us trouble. – But the “import theme settings” that wont work.
We’ve tried base64 decrypting the .txt file and the decrypted version.
The problem occured when trying to set the website up locallyJanuary 12, 2020 at 2:59 pm #1172531Hi,
Thanks for the login, I see on your live site you are using Enfold v3.4.7 with WordPress v5.3.2, which are not compatible.
You will have to update via FTP, The easiest and safest way to do this is to download the newest version from Theme Forest and rename your current theme folder to “enfold-old” via ftp then upload the new “enfold” folder and check that your site is working correctly.
Should for some reason you wish to roll-back to the old version, it’s easy to do, simply rename the new “enfold” folder to “enfold-new” via ftp and then rename “enfold-old” to “enfold” then refresh your page.
Once you are happy you can delete the “enfold-old” folder via ftp, (not the WP theme page)
Please don’t try to overwrite the theme folder, as this will leave old files behind and cause errors. If you don’t feel comfortable doing this, please include FTP access in the Private Content area with a DropBox link to your theme files from Theme Forest and I will assist.
As for your localhost issues it sounds like your PHP setting are too low, try these:
PHP Time Limit: No limit
PHP Memory Limit: 256M
PHP Post Max Size: 50M
PHP Max Upload Size: 20M
but as we can’t investigate your localhost it will be hard to assist, perhaps we should update your live site.Best regards,
