Hey enfolders,
for me and probably a lot of folks out there it is very important to know what changes about the EU GDPR you make.In your latest article https://kriesi.at/archives/enfold-4-3-performance-update you say, that you want to satisfy the GDPR but not what exactly this means.
I really need to know a few things:
– Will you add a checkbox or whatever to the form?
– Will it be possible to make YouTube and Vimeo Section Backgroundvideos GDPR compliant?
– Will it be possible to make YouTube and Vimeo Video Element GDPR compliant?
– Will there be a solution to load the google fonts i need for a site locally and deactivate all others? Or will i still have to do this manually? It would be very helpful if you guys could give some precise infos about that because I really need to estimate what work I have and by when I will have it done.
I do not want to end up changing all sites manually and a week after an update of enfold comes out with which i could have done it with ease.
I hope you understand the importance of this topic.
Best regards and thank you for your great work!

May 9, 2018 at 1:15 pm #953899The same questions
May 9, 2018 at 3:02 pm #953962I second this question! Especially the issue with Google fonts is quite a pressing matter. I don’t see myself loading fonts manually into 80-100 websites beofre the 25.
May 9, 2018 at 3:12 pm #953968the contact form has a checkbox already – you can set it as you like
on the label of that checkbox it is possible to insert html code :
so something like this will do the trick:
<span>Ich habe die <a href="https://url-to-your/datenschutzerklaerung/" target="_blank">Datenschutzerklärung</a> zur Kenntnis genommen.

May 9, 2018 at 3:14 pm #953972Guenni thank you. Of course i know that it has a checkbox. My fault. I more thought about like a theme setting were i can set this text. Would be way more easy especially if there are more than 1 form on a site.
May 9, 2018 at 4:25 pm #954027concerning the Google fonts, here a post from Guenni007:
I haven’t tried it yet, but it seems to be a good workaround for ENFOLD.
May 9, 2018 at 9:52 pm #954154Well, thanks Gitte… I know this workaround. That might be practical for 2-5 websites. If you have to do more than you start to wonder if there’s a more elegant way that at the same time ensures a smooth work flow when it comes to future websites.
Besides that Ygit said March 13, 2018 “Google is also working on it so i am pretty sure transition will not be so complicated.” Any news from that side?
May 10, 2018 at 1:25 pm #954534Yea, Google said that they are working on GDPR compliance. I think they have to. YoutTube, G+, Analytics, Google Maps and almost everything has to be adjusted because they all collect sensitive user data. But no official statements what exactly and by when again.

but until when should the update come? There is not much time left.May 14, 2018 at 11:08 pm #956736Hi,
We will have the update out at 22 of the month, that is for when it is planned.
Unfortunately, there is nothing else we can do to go faster, those things do take a lot of time.Best regards,
