After I purchased the enfold theme from themeforest I tried to import a demo theme in the “Demo Import” section of the theme I am getting this error “Importing didnt work! You might want to try reloading the page and then try again” and when I try to add my token in the “Theme Update” section I get this error message “Could not connect to the internet. Please reload the page and try again”. Can you please help? Thanks!

Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
- Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
- Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
- Click ” Create New “.
- Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( do be sure that we have enough time to debug ). - Click ” Submit “.
- You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.
When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create a admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.Best regards,

Could you please check “List purchases you’ve made” as well and try once again in incognito mode – https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95464?co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&hl=en ?

YigitCan you try now? I did not see an option that says “List purchases you’ve made”. I have enabled these options again “View the user’s items’ sales history” & “List purchases the user has made”

Do you by any chance have more than 1 Enfold license? Envato’s API seem to have rate limiting. We have contacted Envato support team if that is the case and waiting to hear from them.
Also, which demo would you like to import and could you please post FTP logins here privately as well?

If you have more than 1 Enfold license, you might need to generate another personal token. We are waiting to hear from Envato team regarding this one.
In the meantime, could you please post FTP logins and let us know which demo you would like to import so we can check that issue?

YigitThanks. Why do you need ftp login to import a demo. I thought it was built into the theme options. I used avada and it has a simple option to import a demo by a single click.
Also what settings should I use when creating a token, can you please give me details? Also when creating a token from the “Create a new token” button on https://build.envato.com/my-apps/ link it is asking for a “Confirmation URL” and I dont know what that is?I just saw that I was trying to “Regsiter a new app” where as what I needed to do was “Create a new token” and I just confirmed on the theme side and everything worked fine now. The update check was successful and the demo import worked as well. Thank you so much :)

I wanted FTP logins to check permissions and theme files but glad all is working well now!
Yes, we regularly release minor and major updates to make improvements on Enfold. We include new demos in major releases. We have included Enfold knowledge base demo – https://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-knowledgebase-demo/ and one page agency demo – https://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-one-page-agency/ in Enfold 4.5 :)
