    Hi Vikab,

    Thanks for that, but I can’t load your site on my end. This is the error message I’m getting:

    This site can’t be reached
    https://www.linnetandvarden.se/kontakt/ is unreachable.
    ERR_ADDRESS_UNREACHABLE

    Is there a spelling mistake in the URL maybe?

    Same problem here!
    Google API Keys exist and seem to be OK but if I add the key in Enfold Child Theme options I get “Could not connect to Google Maps with this API Key”.
    Any ideas ?

    I donät know why you coultn’t visit it before but the technicians tells med that you should be able to now.

    Hi dear friends,

    I got the same problem as everybody. I created a non restricted API, following the steps on your “How To” and got the same message :
    Could not connect to Google Maps with this API Key.

    I think you got all you need in the private box below,

    Hi piis3w,

    Thanks for the login details. First off, please try updating the theme to the latest version (4.7.3) to see if that helps: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update. Also make sure that you are running the latest version of WordPress itself.

    As said in previous comments, it can be due to missing Google billing info.

    – Go to : https://console.developers.google.com/apis/
    – Select your project
    – And go to : https://console.developers.google.com/billing/
    – Make sure your projet is linked to a billing account.

    Hello, sorry to update this but i’m having the same problem and nothing seems to work

    -The key has no restriction
    -Billing is set up
    -i tried de-activating all plug-in, same problem

    Still the key is no accepted

    Can the hosting be a problem? i don’t know what else to try.

    I have removed your login credentials since both moderators and the thread creator can view it.
    Please create a separate thread and put the admin credentials there and also the API key you are trying to use.

    Holy hell, it would be good if your “How to register a google maps API key” article actually mentioned that you need to enable Maps JavaScript AND Geocoding API.

    Nowhere does it mention that you have to enable these.

    I figured that enabling Maps APIs would make sense by myself, but I was only searching for “Maps”, and getting really confused why it was still throwing some errors.

    Turns out it was the Geocoding API that needed to be activated as well. I had no idea what this was or why I needed it, hence not even looking for it.

    Please update your documentation to reflect this – it might save others hours of troubleshooting….
