    Hi guys,

Could somebody please take a look at my website? The default font ‘Copperplate’ is not showing when selected in the Enfold Settings. ( you can see that all titles (H1, H2,…) show the backup font ‘Helvetica’ ) I checked my Quick CSS to make sure I dont overwrite it somewhere… but didnt find anything fishy.

Private data can be found below.

Thanks in advance for the help! :D

    Hey mynick,

You are overriding most headers yourself under Enfold->Advanced Styling.

    Best regards,

    Hi Rikard,

Thanks for helping me out, as usual.
Well that is just the thing:

-If I choose ‘default/standard’ in those settings… I do not get the desired outcome (copperplate)
-If I choose ‘copperplate’ in those settings… I also do not get the desired outcome (copperplate)
Nothing really changes when changing these settings. I also checked that it’s showing ‘Helvetica’, the backup font, I guess.

I checked my Quick CSS and there is nothing.
I also cleared my cache several times when playing with these settings.

    What to do?

    Hi,

Thank you for sharing the details and sorry for the delay.

As you may already know that web-safe fonts are common to all computer but sometimes depending on the version of your device some fonts may not be installed on your system and it defaults to a backup font. In your case, “Copperplate” is a web-safe font and it may not be installed on your system so the browser defaults to the backup font which is “Helvetica”.

For testing purpose, I changed the h1 font style to “Raleway” which is a Google font and it works correctly :)

Please feel free to change to any Google font that suits your design. Once you have finished making the changes go ahead and enable “merging and compression” for CSS and JS files from Enfold > Performance.

    Best regards,
    Vinay

    Hi Vinay,

Thank you for your time. I can make sense of your explanation, but then I cant stop but think that there might be something else wrong. Why you ask :p?
Because all my coworkers, friends & the client also don’t see the correct font.

Also, it really has to become the desired font… Client’s orders! :D
It’s essential to their branding. They’re using that font everywhere ( brochures, flyers, artwork, … ).

Could you maybe work your magic one last time and check again?
Can you yourself see this ‘copperplate’ font when enabled?

    Thanks in advance.
