    Hello,

    I have a restaurant website
    Using Enfold, Contact form 7 and Contact Form 7 – reCaptcha v2 added a recaptcha to the contact / reservationform.
    When enabled the reCaptcha field is only shown on desktop, not on mobile.
    Mobile user then never can add a submission using ther form as the field is not shown!

    Currently disabled to prevent loss of reservations..

    Any idea

    Sorry for the problem. I see that you are running an old version of the theme, could you try to update to the latest version (4.5.7) to see if that helps please? The update to 4.5.x has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541

    You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/

    If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.

    Hi there.

    Thank you for your reply.
    I updated the theme to latest, but it did not fix the problem?
    Still on the mobile version of the contactpage I am missing recaptcha
    Removed it from the form as lese mobile user are not able to make a reservation.

    As it did not solve anything, I rolled back v4.4 as I was missing a menu change done in mobile version.

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

    Does it work on desktop view? Please note that the version 4.4 is not compatible with the latest version of WordPress. You have to upgrade the theme to the latest version 4.5.7 or to the beta version. It contains improvements for the spam protection. (see private field)
