    Whenever we update the Enfold theme on our websites, the header videos no longer work and we have to restore backups with the old theme version. The update causes the videos become a black section with a spinning loading icon in the center. What can we do so that the videos do not break after each Enfold theme update?

    Hey Lynne,

    Sorry for the problems, though it looks like you are not running the latest version of the theme (4.4.1) on any of your sites, could you try updating to that to see if it helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update

    Also, did you try hosting them on Youtube or a similar service? That should likely speed up the loading time.

    Hi Rikard. Thanks for getting back to me. The reason we are not running the latest theme version on those sites is specifically because updating the enfold theme version always breaks the header videos. We have updated to the latest version whenever there is a theme update available which then breaks the header video and therefore we restore the previous version of Enfold so that our header videos work. The loading time of the video does not seem to be the issue because they never end up loading regardless of how long we wait. I’ve added a link in the private content section which is an example of one of our sites that has the updated Enfold theme version and you can see that the header video does not load.
