    Hi,
    I have enabled breadcrumbs in enfold->header settings.

    Its not showing its hierarchy properly for some products.

    Its not showing the products immediate parent category. Please check private content

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

    That is the default layout of the breadcrumb. It will only display the parent category and the first category associated with the product. If we are not mistaken, FLASH DRAM & EP is the parent category of Industrial Flash, so those are the only links that display.

    Yes, there is one more sub category to industrial flash that is Sata Dom which is not showing up in the breadcrumb .

    Please check the private content.

    Hi Ismael,

    Thanks for the update. But that did not solve the issue.
    It is now picking up the first subcategory for all the products which are under other sub categories as well.

    Hi,

    Sorry about that. We adjusted the code a bit to display the second sub category that is actually related to the product. This is how the breadcrumb looks in the SATADOM-ML 3IE3 V2 16GB~128GB product.

    Thank you Ismael, Its now working fine.
    Do I need to add this code snippet to functions.php each time when I update the theme.
    Or will it be integrated automatically as part of the theme update.
    Please let me know.

    Hi,

    You can switch to a child theme – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/child-theme/ and move the code from parent theme’s functions.php file to your child theme’s functions.php file and it will not be overwritten during updates :)
