    Ich möchte mir aber auf KEINEN Fall das Theme “zerschiessen”. Kann mir jemand bitte weiterhelfen?

    Folgende Meldung bekomme ich ständig:
    Der Aktualisierungsprozess beginnt. Dies kann eine Weile dauern, bitte haben Sie etwas Geduld.

    Hallo Inga,

    Sorry for the problem. The update to 4.5.x has to be done manually unfortunately, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541

    You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/

    But… sorry, I do not understand so many things If I will do the update via FTP can I be sure that my actually theme will not be overwritten?

    Hallo Inga,

    Your theme will be overwritten, that is the whole point of the update. If you are worried about losing anything on your site then please make sure that you have proper backups of it before you start updating so that you can roll back if something should go wrong. We recommend that you make backups of your site before doing any type of update.

    If you want us to do the update for you then please post FTP login details in private, along with a confirmation that you have backups of the site.

    I’m very sorry for the very late reply, I’ve had a few days off and I’m not sure why no one has helped you out in this thread. The FTP login details are now working, thanks for that. The WordPress details are not working though, could you post new ones in private again please?

    Thank you, we have all the information we need though I can’t find the playground folder anywhere. I see a WordPress installation, but it seems like it’s not the correct one since nothing changes in WordPress when I edit the files in there. How exactly do we get to the playground folder?

    I´ve checked my site. After the update some widgets are messed up and the colors of the theme are too. But I think I will be able to solve this relatively quickly.

    Okay, that was too quick to think… I can’t adjust the theme and the colors. Nothing has changed in the backend. Everything still looks the same there. But in the frontend there is something different. Especially the colors are different.
    Do you have any idea?

    Thanks for the screenshots, please try this in Quick CSS for the header colour:

    #top #header_meta {
      background-color:#323c5f !important;
    }

    And this for the product title:

    .single-product-summary .entry-title {
      font-size: 26px !important;
    }

    Don’t forget to delete the old CSS and JS files under Enfold->Performance before you check the results.
