My clients Site https://www.bws-l.de/ uses WP 4.9.3 and Enfold 3.4.7.
I recently installed an SSL certificat and now the Avia Layout Build will not load it just shows the spinning preloading circle animation.
I copyed the Site to a non https host and then the builder is working again.
I also deactivated all Plugins which had no effect.
In one of your forum posts you suggest that the module “mod security” is causing the issue and it should be deactivated.
My clients site is on a shared hosting server, so I’m unable make any ajustments on the server.
Can you please look into the issue.

    Hey pergodesignmanufaktur,

Credentials did not work for me. Could you please update the credentials?

    Best regards,

    Hi,

Thanks for that, though the details are still not working. Please check them before sending.

About your problem; the version of the theme you are running is old and likely not compatible with newer WordPress versions. Could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.4.1) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update

Make sure to keep proper backups before updating in case you should need to roll back.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi,
sorry, seems like you should not use ‘-‘ in the user name.
I created a new user. See details below. I tested it and it works.

But I have the site running fine with this Version auf the theme on a non SSL Server.

So I doubt that updating does work.

    Kind regards,
    Florian

    Hi Florian,

Thanks for that, I got in now. I’m not sure if it’s the theme version or something else, but there really isn’t any reason for not updating. Please try to update to the latest version of the theme, then we can take it from there.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

I am having the same problem. Site switched to HTTPS; public-facing looks fine, but cannot edit. The theme is latest update according to Theme Update.

    Hi Kate,

I see that you have started a separate thread for this problem, let’s stick to that from now on?

    Best regards,
    Rikard
