Hi, I’m trying to add my API key, but I receive this message:
Troubleshooting:
Check if you typed the key correctly.
If you use the restriction setting on Google try to remove that, wait a few minutes for google to apply your changes and then check again if the key works here. If it does, you probably have a syntax error in your referrer url
If none of this helps: deactivate all plugins and then check if the API works by using the button above. If thats the case then one of your plugins is interfering.I have this set up:
Application restrictions:
Set to HTTP referrers (web sites)Website restrictions:

Please send us a temporary WordPress admin login and login URL so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply. Also please share the API key in private if you haven’t added it to the backend of the theme.
Best regards,

Thanks for that. First off, could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.7.6.4) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update. If you haven’t registered your license yet then please follow this: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/

now I have the latest version, but I stil have the same problem with the api key.October 14, 2020 at 9:21 am #1252701Hi,
Thanks for the update. I’m not sure if that is the problem, but there seems to be a conflict with a plugin which might also be using Google Maps. Could you try to deactivate that plugin, then add a Google Maps element from the theme to see what happens then please?
