    I am getting this error message when trying to update our site. we need assistance on getting this task completed ASAP.
    “An error occurred while updating Enfold: Download failed. A valid URL was not provided.”

    Yes, Victoria we do. We need you guys to fix what needs to be done. This should be something that is handled on your end since Enfold needs to be updated.

    Hi,

    Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    1. Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
    2. Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
    3. Click ” Create New “.
    4. Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
      ( do be sure that we have enough time to debug ).
    5. Click ” Submit “.
    6. You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.

    When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
    If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create a admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.

    I am still having issues with our website not being able to do a theme update. I would be happy to do a webinar to ensure that all is fixed properly. We do not have a backup as this would be helpful if you can assist us with how to do that. Please advise..

    To continue helping you further we need to be able to access the backend of your site and inspect what is going on. In order to do that we need WordPress login details and FTP login details which you can post in the private content area so only our mods can view it and help youw with this issue.

    I have tried several times to send it in the private section however it gives me an error message. I am trying again right now.     Hi,

    Thanks for the update.

    The site is currently running on a version of the theme using a deprecated or old version of the automatic update script. You have to update the theme manually via FTP just this once. More info about the manual update can be found in the docs.

    There is no cost and we can do it for you. Please open a new thread and include WordPress admin and FTP login details in private along with a confirmation that you have backups of the site in case something should go wrong.
