The Advanced Layout Builder is spinning once again. Pages that used to be accessible are rendered un-editable, simply by modifying a feature then saving. When the page reloads, all I get is a spinner. Occasionally, but not always, the “Save Draft”, “Preview Changes” and “Publish” buttons become greyed-out right after editing an ALB feature before I can even save. I was able to save changes by editing the short codes with the default editor and saving, but the spacing and padding is all messed up.

I have checked the php memory limit.
    I have disabled plugins.
I have cleared both the browser cache and the firewall cache.

What next? Did something change on the latest update?

I’ll include login credentials below. Thanks

    Hi Drew,

Thanks for giving us admin access.
I checked on your pages and it’s working properly on my end (screenshot of the homepage backend in private content).
Can you try to clear your browser cache?

    Best regards,
    Nikko

Thanks for the reply. Our home page is fine, I know… Minimal content. I gave you a link to an example of pages where use considerable shortcodes and I’m stuck not being able to edit the page in the ALB.

Could you take a look? I’ll link below.

    Hi BOTPIX,

Thanks for giving us admin access and I could see Error 406 in the web console of that page:

    Not Acceptable!
An appropriate representation of the requested resource could not be found on this server. This error was generated by Mod_Security.

Upon checking on the content it seems you have used certain keywords that modsec rule in firewall (in some servers) is blocking.
The keywords I found on your page is get and Head in:

Bonus B Class - "Talking to the Moon"  (will get in class this Thursday - it's maroon)
Bonus C Class - "Head Up"  (lyrical costume)

This is a security measure taken by hosting providers and it is not a theme issue.
You can contact your hosting providers and ask them to whitelist those words and that should fix the issue.

You can check for further information in our documentation: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/intro-to-layout-builder/#layout-builder-is-not-loading-properly

    Best regards,
    Nikko
