    Is it possible to change the header to be centered, with the logo on top of the menu ?

    hello.

    we really like your theme and are very happy with the look and function of our new website http://www.SCMWA.com.

    we are getting some questions from our members about the site load speed. we used Google Pagespeed insights to analyze the site and got 40/100 for mobile and 46/100 for desktop.

    Top 3 suggested fixes include:

    1) Enable Compression

    2) Reduce Server Response Time

    3) Eliminate render-blocking Javascript and CSS in above the fold content

    Do you have any suggestions on how best to resolve these issues?

    I just found another post about it, https://kriesi.at/support/topic/getting-latest-zoom-magnifier-to-work-in-enfold-21

    So I’ve installed YITH WooCommerce Zoom Magnifier 1.04 and works, but it’s not really the way I hope it will work…

    Hi John,

    Open single.php and delete this line (20):

    if( get_post_meta(get_the_ID(), 'header', true) != 'no') echo avia_title(array('title' => $title, 'link' => $t_link, 'subtitle' => $t_sub));

    Or comment it:

    //if( get_post_meta(get_the_ID(), 'header', true) != 'no') echo avia_title(array('title' => $title, 'link' => $t_link, 'subtitle' => $t_sub));

    Hi – love the Enfold theme so far, but have a couple of items I hope you can help me with.

    Here is the site I am building – http://www.pat-bach.com/breitercapital/

    1. Footer size – How can I simply adjust the footer height size (specifically, make it smaller / shorter)? I’ve spent quite a bit of time researching / looking around / experimenting to no avail … is there a simple method that I am missing?

    2. Menu item issue – I wanted to stop the header / menu from auto-sizing to smaller when scrolling. After some research / looking around for fixes, I added some quick CSS to achieve the desired result. However, now the individual dropdown menu item areas are huge. How can I make the dropdown menu item areas smaller without affecting the size of the overall header?

    I am using the Small fixed Header type with the following quick CSS added:

    #header_main .container, .main_menu ul:first-child > li a {

    height: 78px !important;

    line-height: 88px !important;

    padding-top:3px !important;

    font-size: 14px;

    }

    #header_main {

    border-bottom: none;

    }

    #top .main_menu .menu ul li a {

    font-size: 14px;

    }

    .main_menu .menu li {

    height: 60px;

    }

    .logo img {

    height: 128px;

    width: 269px;

    }

    body .logo{

    height:200%;

    }

    Hope this all makes sense … Thanks a million for any help you can offer!!

    Thanks!

    Hi Ismael – Thank you. The check mark fix worked perfectly. Sadly, the other fix deleted the first cell in the first column vs. only removing the top and bottom borders from only that cell. Please see this image: http://TheCalorieMythBook.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/table-9.10.13.png

    Greetings,

    Would you happen to have a quick CSS fix to accomplish the followinig:

    Have the site (Enfold theme) use a “Boxed Layout” for regular desktop viewing, but also have it use the “Stretched Layout” for mobile versions such as tablets and smart phones

    Thank you for your support.

    The menu we have at present (see http://dowsingworldsummit.com/faqs/) is too long to display in FF and cannot be scrolled to see the last item. I would like to be able to reduce the padding of the elements and / or reduce the font size to make all items readable.

    I’ve tried altering the top and bottom padding of sub-menu a but without any luck.

    Can you please tell me what I should be doing to achieve what I am after?

    Thanks

    EDIT:

    Found it… I needed to alter #top .main_menu .menu li ul a to change the padding.

    Hi Josue,

    There has been a misunderstanding of what I am requesting.

    When I made the change you suggested, the title container (which is blue in my modification of the theme) and the white page title in the container were deleted from every page. I don’t want that. I want to keep all blue title containers and white titles where I now have them except only in one case.

    That case is the dynamic page that gets generated when someone clicks on an individual post and is taken to a page labelled “blog” in the title container.

    That’s all I want to change. I want to either (a) change the word “blog” to something else, or (b) delete the word “blog” and have no title in that one title container.

    I can’t figure out how to do that because this “blog” page is not one of the pages that shows up in the “All Pages” view on the dashboard. It apparently is generated automatically to hold individual posts, and the theme inserts the word “blog”.

    Is it possible to make only that specific change?

    Please let me know.

    Thanks,

    John

    Hi,

    since the Enfold update 2.1 all my accordions are not working any more, they cannot be “opened”. The icons change from + to -, but the items don’t “open”.

    I changed this like suggested here:

    https://kriesi.at/support/topic/accordion-since-enfold-21-update-accordion-initial-open-item-is-not-working#post-139180

    but this does not helped.

    I use no caching plugin, I cleared my browser’s cache and disabled ALL plugins to avoid any conflicts – nothing helped.

    Hello,

    I would like to insert an image in top of the normal content box. I tried to add a slideshow trying many options or to upload a media on top of the my normal description. However, I can’t to find a way to do it IN THAT SPECIFIC location and there is only a white rectangle on top of my page with a loading sign and no result.

    Thank you for your help..

    I am having problems with this theme install for my client.

    http://www.LaserRite.com

    For some reason in Internet Explorer, the browser renders the website as if it was on a vertically aligned tablet. Regardless of the browser window size. It works fine on my computer in explorer but not on any other machine apparently. Weird right? Have you had issues with this before?

    It is also stretching the logo up top and does not center it to the header div. Please take a look and let me know what I can do to fix this.

    Thanks.

    Hi Chris,

    It is possible, but it may require some deep customization, and that’s beyond the scope of our support forum, i recommend you suggest it as a feature here, or try hiring a freelance developer.

    Hi,

    Yes, that modification would break if you update the theme, however it may be considered for future updates, request it here https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-feature-requests

    Hi,

    Please add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options to remove main navigation and side navigation

    #top .widget_nav_menu .nested_nav { display: none; }

    Hi,

    To open images in lightbox, in portfolio page you should click on Add Media and add image on the top of the content. Then you should set a Featured Image on the lower right side of the page.

    You can add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under Styling to remove featured image in single portfolio pages.

    .page-thumb img { display: none; }

    In your WordPress theme directory, please go to Enfold folder and open Footer.php file and find following code in line 96

    <span class='copyright'><?php echo $copyright . $kriesi_at_backlink; ?></span>

    and change it to

    <span class='copyright'><?php echo $copyright; ?></span>

    Hi,

    my website has suddenly stopped working properly: my H1, H2 etc. changed their colours and even in LayerSlider something with colours is going wrong (e.g. I cannot see a white text over blue rectangle). Could it be I’m using too much customization in Quick CSS field?

    Hello all! Love the theme so far, but running into two small issues using the layout builder.

    Background – In my portfolio entries, I’m trying to put in some code syntax highlighting. I’m specifically using the Crayon Syntax Highlighter Plugin (http://wordpress.org/plugins/crayon-syntax-highlighter/). Normally, the code highlighting setup has to be done using the “Text” tab in the “Default Editor” and displays in a popup.

    Issue One – The only Content Element that makes sense for me to use (am I wrong with this) is the Text Box. I add the text box and when clicking on the Text Box to set its contents, I can’t use the crayon syntax highlighter, since it can’t display a second-layer modal. Is there a preferred method to do this? Right now, I open a second post and use the default editor, copy the code it creates, and paste it into my Text Box contents. It works, but is there another, smoother way?

    Issue Two – the code the syntax highlighter creates is encapsulated within a <pre> tag with its inner elements. If highlighting HTML or XML, the containing code is encoded into html-encoded entities. When saving the post, I see that the database stores the code correctly (still using the HTML-encoded entities). But when I edit the post again, those entities are converted back into normal HTML-tags, breaking the theme builder and the final saved post.

    Example: my code inserted into the Text Box is (and how it is saved into the database) is:

    <pre>& lt;something& gt;can go here& lt;/something& gt;& lt;/pre& gt;

    (added in spaces to prevent the forum from automatically converting them here too)

    However, when I open the edit for the post, the entities are converted back into normal HTML, breaking the code highlighting and everything else, and looks like this in the editor:

    <pre><something>can go here</something></pre>

    Any thoughts or suggestions? Issue #1 can be worked around, so no biggie, but #2 is a show-stopper for right now.

    I have placed my SECONDARY MENU above the very TOP of the HEADER. It’s currently in a light grey. However, when I hover over it, it is WHITE. Given the background is white, I can’t see it.

    I know it must be a simple fix, but for the life of me, I can’t figure it out.

    Also, I don’t want it to be the “secondary color” of my site, because that color is YELLOW and practically impossible to see.

    Can you please help this novice?

    Thank you.

    Hi,

    Please add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under Styling

    .iconbox_top .iconbox_icon { left: 6%; font-size: 20px; padding: 15px;}

    .iconbox_top .iconbox_content { text-align: left; }

    To increase the size of icons you should adjust the value of font-size and padding

    Sorry that I am opening a new topic. I forgot to ask before closing the last one related to the login/register links.

    I understood that ENFOLD comes with lightbox feature. My question is, how can I add a pop-up form to the login link that was added to the top navigation bar? Do I need to make the link a button or image before I can add a pop-up form to it?

    Thanks in advance!

    In reply to: 2 Very annoying bugs

    The newest version, of both. A few plugins are running.

    I already sent Ismael my login credential to look into a different issue -https://kriesi.at/support/topic/issues-simple-icons-in-the-footer

    If possible, it will be nice if he could look into this issue as well.

    Thanks a lot guys.
