Hi laptophobo!
Your link is not working for me. Can you check it?
It’s most likely that your Enfold version is outdated. Make sure Enfold is updated to the latest version, 3.4.7.
Best regards,
Elliott
Hey bloodyamazing!
Add this to your custom CSS.
@media screen and (max-width: 500px) {
.responsive #top .slideshow_caption .slideshow_align_caption h2.avia-caption-title {
font-size: 12px !important;
}
}
Regards,
Elliott
This is the page:
As you can see the coeblock show as
[avia_codeblock_placeholder uid=”0″]
[avia_codeblock_placeholder uid=”1″]
I see that somebody else had the same problem but I don’t understand the solution:
Can you help me
Thanks
No, the amount of time the idle (black) screen is shown will depend on the user’s internet speed and computing power, another thing you can do is change the color of it:
#top .av-video-slide .avia-slide-wrap {
background: white;
}
Cheers!

Hi,
Please refer to the topic https://kriesi.at/support/topic/partner-logos-constant-speed-carouse-style/
How can I decrease the padding above and below the partner logos?
Website is in PVT.
Thank you
Hi Enfold support team,
I would like to have a header navigation like on this page:
http://www.hongkongstudios.de/#design
– The menu should NOT only show up when the user scrolls.
– The menu should have a translucent background.
Could you give me some hints?
Best regards,
Anna
Yes I’d like to know the answer to this as well. I’d also like to make the logos larger as well on the top header and in the footer.
Also, is there a way of making the top bar header always appear on pages but hide the main menu? I’m using a one page scrolling style for the home page but have other pages that are separate and are accessible via the top bar.
I’ve noticed that when you view a page outside of the ‘one page’ set up for scrolling, that if you try and click on an anchor link, the link doesn’t work and won’t take you back to the home page which is set up to scroll using anchor links. Is there a way around this by any chance?
Thanks,
Krissie
Hi,

Hello. I’ve looked at the post at https://kriesi.at/support/topic/sticky-post-with-post-filtered-by-category/ and tried the solution offered of adding a category called “sticky” and using an extra Blog Posts element to display the sticky category posts. The problem is that when there is not a sticky post (i.e., the admin doesn’t want any post to be sticky), the element displays “NOTHING FOUND Sorry, no posts matched your criteria”. I would prefer that the element be hidden if there are no posts in that category. Is there a way to do this, or is there another solution for having a sticky post in a Blog Posts element?
I tried using the Post Types Order plugin as suggested in another post in this forum. As far as I can tell, however, after setting the order, if I add a new post, that new post is going to be on top of the post I just set at the top using the plugin, so the solution doesn’t work.
Hi,
That’s not what they claim in their plugin’s info page: https://wordpress.org/plugins/contact-form-7-to-database-extension/
Plus, I checked it works and stores the submissions in which there hasn’t been any error on the Enfold contact form.
For your information the contact form started failing before I installed that plugin and I didn’t write this topic to get support on someone else’s plugin. I only installed the plugin to find out if the submissions could be stored even though the email sending failed.
If there’s no other way I’ll have no other choice than using Contact Form 7, but I’d rather get support on the Enfold theme and its functionality.
Thank you very much
Hi daeumling!
maybe SearchWP Plugin is for you. Check out our recommended plugin list: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/recommended-plugins-last-update-04-09-2013/

I am just wondering if im missing something.
The top bar that appears on the top of an enfold site above the logo area where social icons and phone number etc can live can be styled like other elements from the theme options. This is done by enfold theme settings, advanced styling, and selecting “Small bar above Main Menu”
It’s great I can set the text colour to white. So why can I not set a font size for this element but I can for the other elements?
This is not making sense. It seems stupid for the developer to leave this out so im sure im being stupid and missing something.
I can just style it with css using #top #header_meta .phone-info {font-size:16px}
But wondering if this is the right way as I can’t understand why this option isnt there for that one element. But is for other elements such as h1.
Please advise
I would like to reverse the order the elements load on my iPhone. There is no sidebar. I want the gallery to load second and the text element
to load first. On the desktop and iPad the gallery is on the left and the text is on the right.
Any ideas?
Connie
Hey!
1.) I mean that we don’t really recommend to use ALB for blog posts and instead use WordPress’ standard editor. So you don’t have to do anything basically, just don’t activate ALB for bog posts.
However, if you decide to use ALB for blog posts, then you can do this trick to get WordPress’ standard meta information for blog posts: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/how-to-add-blog-meta-information-to-posts-designed-with-the-advanced-editor/#post-572997
2.) I don’t really get what you mean. If you activate ALB for blog posts, then you can do whatever layout you want. Just use the elements from ALB.

Andy
In this page Link , is shows “Blog – Latest News” on the top of the page. I could not find anywhere in WP where the phrase “Latest News” is set up. This “latest news” phrase shows up on every individual post. Any suggestions on how to fix it in WP. We are using the Enfold theme.
Thanks,
Mips
Hi Paul!
Please change your code in custom.css file to following one
#header .widget {
left: 83%;
padding-top: 0;
position: absolute;
top: 0;
transform: translate(-50%);
}
Best regards,
Yigit
No, in the custom.css of the parent enfold there’s only:
/* Have fun adding your style here :) - PS: At all times this file should contain a comment or a rule, otherwise opera might act buggy :( */
/* General Custom CSS */
/*
Desktop Styles
================================================== */
/* Note: Add new css to the media query below that you want to only effect the desktop view of your site */
@media only screen and (min-width: 768px) {
/* Add your Desktop Styles here */
}
/*
Mobile Styles
================================================== */
/* Note: Add new css to the media query below that you want to only effect the Mobile and Tablet Portrait view */
@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
/* Add your Mobile Styles here */
}
thx again for the quick reply.
Ich sehe gerade das Sie auch Deutsch sprechen. :)
slide 1 http://imgur.com/Ch0WloI
slide 2 http://imgur.com/1KwH9MA
slide 3 http://imgur.com/1RUgZkC
Weiter hat es beim sliden auf Desktop auch ein kleines Problem. Es schneidet immer beim sliden unten kurz einen Teil weg von dem Bild im slider.
Hey!
Please add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under General Styling tab
#top .av-section-bottom-logo .social_bookmarks, .html_bottom_nav_header #top .av-logo-container .social_bookmarks {
position: fixed;

z-index: 999;
right: 20%;
}
Best regards,

Hi there enfold-team,
its really strange but your code works with contact form color scheme “Light transparent”
I have insert #ffffff to show the differences with your provided code:
#top div .av-dark-form textarea {
color: #ffffff !important;
border-color: #ffffff !important;
}
#top div .av-dark-form select {
color: #ffffff !important;
border-color: #ffffff !important;
}
input[type='submit'] {
font-family: georgia !important;
}
Additionally:
Do you have a codeline to change the backround color inside the boxes?
Hi,
I want to create a enfold-child, but it doesn’t works. When i activate the child theme it’s completely different than the parent theme. I tryed everything, i’v readed a lot of topics in the forum but nothing works. My website is based on your demo “Enfold Photography Portfolio”.
content of my style.ccs enfold child file:
/*
Theme Name: Enfold Child
Description: A <a href='http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes'>Child Theme</a> for the Enfold WordPress Theme. If you plan to do a lot of file modifications we recommend to use this Theme instead of the original Theme. Updating wil be much easier then.
Version: 1.0
Author: Laura Matthys
Author URI: http://kriesi.at
Template: enfold
*/
/*Add your own styles here:*/
And the content of the functions.php:
<?php
add_action( 'wp_enqueue_scripts', 'theme_enqueue_styles' );
function theme_enqueue_styles() {
wp_enqueue_style( 'parent-style', get_template_directory_uri() . '/style.css' );
}
?>
Can you help me? Thanks!
Laura

I have struggled with a single problem with the Enfold theme over and over. The post feature photos get cropped in the most awkward ways. I’ve tried the recommended plug in that sometimes works and then stops working with the next Enfold updated.
This is a simple and basic request – I need my post photos to resize, not crop. Can some one help?
