I just did this and it changed the color, at least:

background-color: #f9f9f9;
}

I’m’ sure we’ll want to now get rid of the extra padding above the main content.

OK!! this the culprit!

I need a way to shorten the top white part that is under the menu. Is there another way?

without opening another topic i think i can ask here for other issues i have. i put some points to make things easier.

premise: i’m using this CSS code:

now i have these points to solve:

1) on Iphone and android device: there’s no parallax scrolling effect between background image and section of text instead on desktop there is that effect . How can i have parallax scrolling on mobile devices?

2) On android devices ONLY: image background which i seted up by CSS code (Home page background) appears like vertically aligned instead a one single wide image! Why? How can i modify this thing?

3) on desktop: Home background image (that is the one i seted by CSS code) goes out of the edges of the page! Is there a solution for this issue? What is it?

4) on iphone and android devices: Logo and main menu area aren’t trasparent, as on desktop, but it’s white and doesn’t change dimension when scrolling, instead on desktop it happens! what can i do? is there a possybility?

Yes I have already tried with :
– all plugins deactivated
– parent theme instead of child theme.

You are definitely allowed to do some changes on the site, it is not yet operational and I have backups. Just keep me informed about what you do.

Before reinstalling the theme, I have done some tests on another Enfold site that I am running, and it does not work either.

So I am wondering, are you sure that post links in Magazine block are well supported by the theme ? I have searched further in the forum and found those 2 tickets :

Hi Ismael,

I don’t think that removing the image would work across the whole of the site.

I would be happy to use multiple css media queries… Can you advise how to set up four versions split in to two…

full screen: desktop 1920px width / laptop 960px width
mobile: ipad 768px width / mobile 480px width

thank you a lot, this already helps. But there is still a question mark left, as the responsive footer should be a standard behavior which didn’t work on this single site. You have an idea why?

I had a quite similar problem with a different layout in an other Topic, so it would be nice to solve this to the core of the problem:

Also with your quick CSS the footer still looks a bit different in contrast to the other sites: The second widget area is shifted to the right and not inline with the first widget area above.

2a. Yes the point I am making is that the CSS is perfect on ALL devices except the iPhone 6s Plus. If I adjust the CSS then it will not be perfect on all the other devices. (iPhones 4s,5s, 6 and Android HTCONE)

And this css declaration is not good because it will affect all color sections:

The question is what do you want me to change it to? I understand logically what you are saying, but I’m not sure what the correct declaration is.

AND why is the section perfect on all devices except the iPhone 6s PLUS? And maybe other Androids that are that size?

ALSO if you notice the icons inside the circles are very tiny on the 6s Plus. Look at it on your phone to contrast.

PLEASE log in and look at my CSS and tell me what you think is causing the problem. You have logged in before for me on a mother site some time ago. If I ever needed it I need it now.

I am 99% of the way there. I have the last small problem left to solve then I can use this CSS on all other site with this element.

I really think after many days have passed that you have to go back to reread what is going on. This post I am making today is mainly repetitive. I know it’s been a bit confusing and I greatly appreciate your help.

1. I added CSS right: 40px; to center it perfectly and adjusted padding a little. See below. But on the iPhone 4s and Android HTCone the icons are wrapping. Is there anyway to stop this? See screenshot below. This is the CSS I used. Is it wrong?
