    Hi,

    I think this should be fixed already. If you check on the css of this demo: http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-church/event/church-youth-trip/
    (css link) http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-church/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-events-calendar/event-mod.css?ver=4.7.4
    You should find this block of code:

    .single-tribe_events .tribe-events-venue-map,
    #top.single-tribe_events .tribe-events-meta-group-gmap{background: transparent; border:none; padding:0; margin:0; width:100%;}

    which is what Mike posted, I think there might be some css conflict that why it’s overridden with some widths and with Mike’s code adding !important, that would force it not to get overridden with other width values.

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    Hey Victoria,
    Yes still having the issue.

    You won’t see it on desktop or android based mobiles.

    See attached screenshots from iphone 5. It’s turning testimonial images right 90 degrees in Chrome and Safari on iphone.

    Hey cptnem0,

    For dropdowns, go to Appearance > Menus, set a menu item as a Mega Menu, then drag another menu item under it which will serve as the title for the Column, then drag the menu items under it that would show as submenus. Here is a screenshot of how it should look like: http://imgur.com/a/R3J0o

    As for the sidebar menus, try adding this in Quick CSS (located in Enfold > General Styling):

    #top .widget_nav_menu li {
        position: relative;
    }

    #top .widget_nav_menu li:before {
        content: '';
        display: block;
        border-top: 3px solid transparent !important;
        border-bottom: 3px solid transparent !important;
        border-left: 3px solid #333;
        position: absolute;
        left: -10px;
        top: 15px;
    }

    Hope this helps :)

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    Hey Dee007,

    That’s how it was designed. Since mobile browsers scroll to top when top of the browser is touched, Enfold’s scroll to top button is hidden on mobile to save space.

    To display it for your website, please add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under General Styling tab:

    @media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
    .responsive #scroll-top-link {
      display: block !important;
    }}

    If you want, you can request a hide/display option for mobiles here – https://kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests/

    Best regards,
    Sarah

    I am using the left-menu header, so most of the header options are greyed out. One that I would like to use is having the sub menus open as toggles rather than open by default. With the custom design I am using, it is causing the menu to be very long.

    You can see an example if you view this page on mobile, if you click the menu you will see a few large text items (top menu items) and smaller text items (sub menu items). I Would like for sub menus on mobile to all be toggle. Any way to achieve this?

    In reply to: Paralax Broken

    Thank you for getting back to me Ismael,

    It has been a bit hit and miss. I’ll do a scan and when I get a clean report, the page swill work correctly, but then eventually the auto scans will happen and send a report that malware was detected and then again, the parallax will stop working. Its been a constant back and forth battle. Those directories I mentioned don’t exist on the server either. I do seem to recall that those pages did exist when I first purchased the theme, but since have removed them since they are no longer needed. Could it be that some residual evidence of those pages might still exist somewhere? Maybe there’s still some pointers/links to those pages somewhere? Any ideas on how to verify that other than just going to the “pages” in the WordPress dashboard? I did check my menus to make sure there wasn’t any reference tot hose pages in there.

    Thank you

    Please see https://www.lapolla.com/spray-foam-insulation/architectural-specifications/
    Under the top banner image is a section called DOWNLOADABLE DWG FILES
    This section contains a table. In each cell of that table is a text and image link to a dwg file. In Chrome, FF and Safari, this link downloads the dwg as expected, but in IE and Edge, it tries to open the file in the browser instead of downloading it.

    So then I added the download attribute after the source url for the link to force the download. That got IE and Edge to download the file, but it made it download and htm file instead of the dwg file in the link.

    I found other info online about IE not properly downloading dwg files, but this link does allow the use to successfully download dwg files in IE: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/downloads/caas/downloads/content/autocad-sample-files.html

    So is there an issue between wordpress and IE/Edge that won’t let dwg files properly download?

    How can I get this site made in Enfold to be able to correctly download dwg files in IE and Edge?

    Thanks,
    Rob

    Which video? There are 3 video presentations on the test page. The top one is the one that’s broken and doesn’t render presented as a background video–should auto play but instead the loading gif is all that renders.

    We understand the benefits from hosting the video with youtube or vimeo although there are limitations with how the video is presented and you have to pay them for certain features we receive for free self hosting. We have the bandwidth and server capacity to self host so we really need to fix this bug.

    We reinstalled the theme via ftp after disabling all the plugins and the self hosted video continues to not play as it should.

    Again the test page contains the self hosted background video (youtube compression and format) at the top, the self hosted video presented in enfold video element player second (which plays fine when you hit the play button and finally the youtube hosted background video which also plays with no problem. Again all the same video files just presented differently. Quite the mystery. Thanks!

    I am working on a new home page design that uses a transparent menu, which is intended to go opaque on scrolling. After resolving some other issues with conflicting plugins to resolve an anchor navigation issue, the transparent menu was working as expected. However, today, after further experimentation with adding a Tab Section on the home2 page, the menu transparency stopped working. I removed all changed content on the page, yet the issue remains.

    I would appreciate any recommendations to resolve.

    Also, is there a CSS edit that can be done to hide / exclude the Header widget for a specific page? Or alternatively, to just load / display it on selected pages? I found other forum posts that reference use of the page-id, but was unable to find an example to assist me with this.

    Thank you.

    When a mobile user reaches the end of my page on mobile, there is not “scroll to the top” icon like in desktop.
    Is that how it should be or is there anything I can do to fix it?

    Hi Guys,
    For some reason my menu on mobile is way too close to the right side of the screen.
    Any way to fix it?

    Hi John,

    I don’t think you’re understanding me correctly. This is NOT an image I am using, nor an image I uploaded. Thus I am wondering if it is part of the Enfold gym theme, or why it is here during the Waterfall test. I am aware it doesn’t work (hence the fact it is not in media and not existing and my website is not part of the image path). But the problem is how to get rid of it as it is appearing to slow down my home page (see Waterfall data). Is it some part of the theme I cannot erase or change (seems odd given it is supposedly a jpeg?). It clearly has a path from your guys’ material.

    The only reference to this link I have found on your forums is from this post: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/slider-with-header/

    Where it is listed amongst the shortcode that Rikard posted (ctrl+f the path from my original message).

    Thank you for addressing the layer Slider Plug In update, but I am wondering if there is a bug that will be fixed in this update. My Enfold Theme is up to date, but when it updated, the slides on the layer slider are now not fitting correctly. I can choose “Fixed Size” from the global slider settings and the slide looks great on desktop, but on mobile it does not respond. If I choose responsive, which I want, the slider seems to be too big and lo longer fits the container. It all worked before the enfold Update. Will this be addressed?

    Thank you,

    RR

    Hey roamingk,

    try adding the following to quick css:

    #top.avia-blank #main .container_wrap:first-child {
    border-top-width: 0px;
    }
    #top.avia-blank #main .container_wrap:last-child {
    border-bottom-width: 0px;
    }
    .main_color, .main_color .site-background {
    background-color:#FFF !important;
    }

    Best regards,
    Jordan Shannon

    Hi,

    Please stop with the “Come on” I am trying my best to help you out.

    Now, the best thing to do would be first over look your css and make sure there are no errors, and that the last piece of css on the page is reading. If it isn’t then that indicates and error somewhere. That code that I gave you before should apply to the other pages by changing the page id.

    Best regards,
    Jordan Shannon

    CAUTION! Do not downgrade to 2.4.16 if you got new orders since you upgraded to 3.0.4.
    This said you can follow the official guide to downgrade
    AGAIN! Do not downgrade to 2.4.16 if you got new orders since you upgraded to 3.0.4.

    If you need to stay with 3.0.4 just make sure you have Enfold 4.0.5 running any apply my solution. It is save to use and works on hundreds of Enfold installations.

    Hi,
    unfortunately the slider of a customer site changed after the last automatic wordpress update! The slides (sentences) are changing and suddenly lie one on top of the other etc. … several things changed! We need urgent help and information what to do now. Hope we don’t have to build it new. What could be the reason? Such changings without working at the site should not happen. [We already made the theme update.]
    Best regards,
    Nic

    @Phet, thanks for your suggestion but I actually don’t have a .thumbnails class.

    <figure class="woocommerce-product-gallery__wrapper">
    <div class="woocommerce-product-gallery__image" data-thumb="...">
    <a class="lightbox-added" href="..." rel="product_images[grouped]">

    <span class="image-overlay overlay-type-image" style="left: 0px; top: 5px; overflow: hidden; display: block; height: 387px; width: 397px;">
    </a>

    Topic: New TAB SECTION buggy

    in forum Enfold
    SoundComposer
    Participant

    So I used the new TAB SECTION on a webpage for a client and I love the idea of being able to switch between tabs. At first it looked like it works like a charm but after some time I realised a bug of some sort.

    First of all I inserted BLOG POSTS in the different tabs and since Enfold does not support Advanced Layout Builded blog posts to be shown like this in a list I’ve created each blog post using the Visual Text Editor and creating things with INSERT THEME SHORTCODE. So this worked for showing the posts like I wanted them with images and columns by using the BLOG POSTS.

    Now here is the bug. After I’ve inserted quite a lot of posts on the first tab, all the posts on the second tab would be moved downwards so the first part of the page is blank. This also happened to the third tab as well. The more posts on the first tab the lower the second and third tab would start the content. My solution so far is to insert a WHITE SPACE and type -3600 in the top of the second tab and also inserting the white space and typing a value of -3600 on the third tab as well.

    Is this something you can fix? Even though my work around moves things upwards there are strange lines different places on the second and third tab and also I don’t know how this will react on different browsers or even mobile devices. Also the second and third tab has a huge amount of white space underneath all the posts which isn’t beautiful.

    Here is the site where it is happening: http://oldozjavidi.com/produktioner/
    Here is a clone page where I’ve removed the white space: http://oldozjavidi.com/produktioner-test/

    Please help and de-bug :)

    Thanks!

    Hi Victoria,

    The slider text we are talking about is built into the image “SURPRENEZ VOUS”. So do you mean you can help me reproduce that text and place it where it should be on the slider image when viewing on mobile devices?

    I want the image to display exactly like it does on the desktop:
    – I can see all of the person in the slider image
    – I can see the “SURPRENEZ VOUS” text on the slider image on the person’s middle upper body
    – I can see my caption free of the image text.

    As for the logo size on the mobile, how do I get it to be small on the mobile devices?

    Thank you for responding quickly.

    Hi there, i was wondering how to do some changes on the Masonry Gallery. I did everything i could find in the forums but there are some things i cant get done. Mainly couse i don’t know about quick css codes.
    My Site is http://www.cm-arq.com and the Gallery is in the Home page (INICIO in spanish)

    What i want is to give some transparency to the caption background which i did with this code:

    figcaption, figcaption * {
    opacity: 0.7 !important;
    margin-top: -5px;
    color: white !important;
    }

    However, its changin the font opacity too, which i dont want. I was wondering if i could set both opacity with different values, or have the font with no transparency at all.
    This i use to set the size:
    .av-masonry-entry .av-masonry-entry-title { font-size: 12px; }

    Also, the masonry caption has a litle arrow or square in the center top. Is there a way to remove that? so the caption background is only a rectangle line.

    Thnks in advance!

    Hi,

    I’m using ENFOLD 4.0 and the Usernoise plugin from Codecanyon.

    Since activating the plugin I get this warning at the frontend of my site:

    Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /www/htdocs/w0148733/kunsttalk.de/wpmultisite/wp-content/themes/kunsttalk_enf/header.php:16) in /www/htdocs/w0148733/kunsttalk.de/wpmultisite/wp-content/plugins/usernoise/inc/integration.php on line 30

    Line 16 in ENFOLD’s header.php is:

    <html <?php language_attributes(); ?> class="<?php echo "html_{$style} ".$responsive." ".$preloader." ".$av_lightbox." ".$filterable_classes ?> ">

    The plugin author said to this warning:

    This warning is caused by output started by some other code/plugin before the moment Usernoise tries to send cookie. You can read more here: https://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_do_I_solve_the_Headers_already_sent_warning_problem.3F

    This means the first part of this warning is the culprit and not the plugin, means the header.php of ENFOLD.

    I found this in the forum from Yigit with a similar problem, and added the suggested snippet

    add_theme_support('avia_no_session_support');

    to ENFOLD’s functions.php, but this does not helped.

    Any ideas please?
    Thank you.

    Hi realbambam,

    I see a jumping page: it loads at the top, after a few seconds I see the tab content and then back to top. My question is what did you do to show tab instead of normal top of the page? This could help us solve the issue.

    Best regards,
    Victoria

    Hi,

    That seems to be a better solution :)
    Please add following code to Quick CSS instead

    @media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
    #top .container .av-masonry-col-flexible .av-masonry-entry {
        width: 100%;
    }}

    Best regards,
    Yigit
