    Hi mariagretel,

    Please update your site to the latest version (from 4.8.5 to 4.8.6.3) and the error should be fixed.
    Please backup your site before updating.

    As for the demo import issue, it’s because PHP ZipArchive Extension is disabled.
    You can verify this on LayerSliderWP > Options > System Status (or you can go directly to the link in private content).
    Please enable PHP ZipArchive Extension in cPanel or you may need to ask your hosting provider for assistance in enabling this feature.

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    Hi
    When i tried to Import: Dark Photography Demo i get this error: Download of files for demo Dark Photography Demo didn’t work!
    You might want to try reloading the page and then try again.

    And when i install the child theme i get other error: Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: Argument 1 passed to aviaShortcodeTemplate::unique_css_element_id() must be of the type array, string given, called in /home/y74xy8pg9hz3/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/php/class-shortcode-template.php on line 359 and defined in /home/y74xy8pg9hz3/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/php/class-shortcode-template.php:445 Stack trace: #0 /home/y74xy8pg9hz3/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/php/class-shortcode-template.php(359): aviaShortcodeTemplate->unique_css_element_id(”, ‘av_one_third’) #1 /home/y74xy8pg9hz3/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/php/class-shortcode-template.php(374): aviaShortcodeTemplate->element_styles_defaults(Array) #2 /home/y74xy8pg9hz3/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/columns/columns.php(994): aviaShortcodeTemplate->get_element_styles(Ar in /home/y74xy8pg9hz3/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/php/class-shortcode-template.php on line 445

    Dear Team,

    I have just updated my theme and WordPress version to the latest one.

    I am getting this issue on my website.

    I tried to restore to previous backup from hosting site. Unfortunately it did not work.

    I will appreciate if you can help me to fix the issue.

    Hey Rikard, thanks for the reply. On a lower version of PHP (7.4) it works fine.
    Are you preparing an update of Enfold that will work on PHP 8?

    #1323128

    Hey Martijn,

    Please send us a temporary WordPress admin login and login URL so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply. Also, does it work as expected if you downgrade your PHP version to 7.4 for example? You could also try to disable all plugins, to see if that changes anything.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    We had a working socket-only footer before I updated to the most recent version of Enfold, and now we don’t. Everything else is working fine; just can’t see the socket footer. The footer settings have not changed; I checked them carefully and they seem fine — but the socket is not visible.

    I’m sending you credentials for the staging site. I tried to roll the theme back to an older version but no luck.

    Also note that I’ve seen a similar issue in the support form (#1323070) and I tried Rikard’s suggestion in Reply #1323093 to turn on the parent theme. When I did this, then yes, the footer widgets and socket did appear. However, when I tried copying and pasting the parent header.php into the child theme header.php per Rikard’s suggestion, I got syntax errors. There is a LOT of customization in my child theme and there seems to be some redundancy in the child theme header.php with the parent theme code in its header.php. Bottom line is I’m not clear where to copy the header.php from the parent theme into the child theme (do I overwrite any of the child theme code?), nor am I clear where the customization starts in my child theme.

    Since the issue is clearly with the recent theme update, I’m hoping you will find a simpler solution for me and others to get our socket footers back, without having to mess with the header.php code.

    Thank you in advance for your help. — Bonnie

    I am working with a graphic designer and they have asked me to animate a Google Charts — Gauge
    found here: https://developers.google.com/chart/interactive/docs/gallery/gauge

    I got it working properly with specific colours in a basic html page here:
    https://new.jddpacific.com/gaugehtml/

    When I try to add this into a Footer using either Custom HTML Widget or even Text Widget e.g., here:
    https://new.jddpacific.com — there is a strange light grey background behind the Google Gauge. Even stranger is the link above only displays the embedded in page gauge — clicking on Sample Page in the menu will display the animated gauge in the footer . . . both are displaying the strange background NOT seen in the basic html page at the second link above.

    The Designer I am working with wants this animated gauge in the footer of a live website.

    I have tried wrapping the lines of code in the tags -- that stopped the whole thing working.
    Help getting this working with a transparent background would be amazing . . .

    PHP 7.4 on Litespeed server, latest version of Enfold and also latest version of WordPress.

    Hey joerka27,

    Sorry for the problems.

    In file enfold\config-templatebuilder\avia-template-builder\php\class-template-builder.php around line 507 you find

    public function handler_wp_dbx_post_sidebar( WP_Post $post )

    Replace this with:

    public function handler_wp_dbx_post_sidebar( $post )

    Do not forget to make a backup of the original file for a fallback and clear server cache.

    If you need help please create an admin account for us (with ability to edit theme files) and our moderator can do it for you.

    Fix will be in next update.

    Best regards,

    Hi Rikard,

    Hey magpublisher,

    Thanks for the login details. First off, could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.8.6.3) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update. If not, then please try updating your PHP version to 7.4 or higher. Also please try disabling all plugins, if the updates should not have any effect.

    Hey Thomas,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

    Looks like an issue with the regex match. Please try to edit the helper-privacy.php file, look for this code around line 520 and 2097.

    preg_match( "!UA-[0-9]+-[0-9]+!", $analytics, $match );

    Replace it with:

    preg_match( "/(UA|G)-([0-9]+-[0-9]|[0-9A-Za-z])/", $analytics, $match );

    Let us know if it helps.

    Hi Enfold Team,

    i noticed problems in the WooCommerce editing a product in the admin backend page some days ago, where trying to upload a product image did not result to the usual word press media upload lightbox pop-up, but opened this full screen page instead:
    2021-09-29-18-52-05-Piano-Revolution-Uploads-Word-Press

    Today I noticed more errors:
    1. on the edit product page really on the bottom the typical WordPress critical error message:
    “Es gab einen kritischen Fehler auf deiner Website. Bitte überprüfe den Posteingang deiner Website-Administrator-E-Mail-Adresse für weitere Anweisungen.
    Erfahre mehr über die Problembehandlung in WordPress.” [German, I think you understand it ;-)]
    but I didn’t get an E-Mail.
    The design of the different boxes at the bottom also looks weird, see the following screenshot:
    2021-09-29-18-53-20-Produkt-bearbeiten-Piano-Revolution-Word-Press

    2. Then I checked the status logs via WooCommerce Status => Logs and found in the fatal-errors-2021-09-29-5031f9e9da7ced79a89a9a3a601565b6.log a large number of these errors:

    All my page details/plugins and installed versions (everything is up to date) I also pasted into the private content below.

    Any help on this would be greatly appreciated, something seems seriously wrong here and I can’t edit images of products anymore…

    Hi,

    What you can try to do:

    In enfold\config-templatebuilder\avia-shortcodes\section\section.php around line 872 you find:

    $atts['src'] = '';

    Replace this with:

    Hello,

    we have a problem with our custom font size and color settings. They get lost in the translated versions of the web (via WPML). Sometimes when we update and sometimes even when we just save a page.
    Is there a way to avoid this and why does it happen?
    We also created tagbased menus and after updating the site to PHP 7.4 the menus in all languages except the original language (English) got lost.
    It is very annoying as we keep losing hours of work quite often.
    We do use a child theme.

    And I have another questions – our shop menu is a collection of tags that are assigned to products. Is it possible to add a text once the user has clicked one of the tags e.g. Oily Skin – meaning when he gets the selection of the products that have this tag, it would be ideal to have a description on top of these products giving more insights (maybe also a photo/ banner).

    Thank you,
    Julia

    Hello, I tried to import a demo (Enfold Health) but pages were not well charged, the result was bad so I decided to build my site without demo. The problem is that probally there are some settings of the demo I can’t delete. I tried to begin to build my site but when I try to buid a page using Avia a long written appears and it is also published on the site:
    Warning: include(/home/customer/www/barbaram23.sg-host.com/public_html/wp-content/uploads/avia_fonts/lifestyles/charmap.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/customer/www/barbaram23.sg-host.com/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/php/class-font-manager.php on line 477

    and I don’t know how to delete this because this written appears on all pages, everytime I open the editor Avia.
    So: how is it possible to delete it? How is it possible to delete all settings of the demo Enfold Health and to start from scratch?
    I let you my credentials to log in my site, can you help me? I am not an expert… Thank you!

    i would update such older Versions allways via ftp in this manner: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/some-hints-and-advice-to-update-enfold/#post-1056107 , because you will have a rollback enfold version if you had to go back.
    And make a complete Backup of your page ( f.e. with duplicator ).

    What about your php and Wordpess Versions? Are these allready on newest one?

    #1322540

    Is it too complicated for you to implement?
    maybe this is better – ( as mentioned above – the second button had to be not an anchor link leading to an id of a color-section or something like this )

    function inline_popup_youtube_link() {
    ?>
    <script type="text/javascript">
    (function($){
    $(window).on('load', function () {
    	$('.custom-class').find('a[href^="#"]').addClass('no-scroll');
    	$('.custom-class').magnificPopup({
    		delegate: 'a[href^="#"]',
    		type:'inline',
    		midClick: true,
    	});
     });
    })(jQuery);
    </script>
    <?php
    }
    add_action('wp_footer', 'inline_popup_youtube_link', 9999);

    Borlabs can block iframes – see : Borlabs – Content Blocker – Youtube :

    This is the shorcode i put inside a div – and set for the div a class : mfp-hide
    This class is the magnificPopup class that is set to display: none
    With that code above – every anchor link that starts with “#” inside that custom-class ( you can have every other name for it ) will open in a lightbox. In this case it is that youtube film – blocked by borlabs cookie til you consent.
    The button itself is linking to manual #youtube-film ( this had to correlate with the div ID that you like to open )

    <div id="youtube-film" class="mfp-hide">[borlabs-cookie id="youtube" type="content-blocker"]<iframe width="100%" height="800" src="https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/Uzjt3fvIlnY" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>[/borlabs-cookie]</div>

    #1322499

    Hi,
    Thank you for the login, the issue was that the donorbox script was looking for a link with the class custom-dbox-popup, but adding this custom class to the menu option adds the class to the menu li tag and not the a (link) tag, so I added this script to find your menu item and add the class to the correct place, your button is working now, please check.

    function my_donorbox_add_class(){
    ?>
    <script>
    (function($) {
      $('#menu-item-6087.custom-dbox-popup a').addClass('custom-dbox-popup');
    }(jQuery));
    </script>
    <?php
    }
    add_action('wp_footer', 'my_donorbox_add_class');

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hi Nikko,

    Do you guys not have a test site to simply check this by trying to add an image to the Fullscreen Eay Slider?

    I would have to ask each individual client for permission to let you have access and that is not practical as it is happening on all clients sites using Enfold with child theme. There are various hosts but sites are all using the latest version of Enfold (although it is the same on older versions) and all plugins ect are up to date and all running php 7.4.

    As previously said, it is quite a recent thing that appears to have happened with the latest wordpress update and it is happening with multiple running Enfold.

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

    The featured images of the posts are not displaying because the blog layout is set to “custom” or it is set to use the advance layout builder. You have to modify and replace the content of the includes > loop-index.php file with the following code to display the featured image back.

    // https://pastebin.com/HLKf7A1E

    Before doing the above modification, please upgrade the theme to version 4.8.6.3 first.

    I am using a child theme.
    Enfold version 4.8.6.2
    Wordpress version 5.8.1
    PHP version 7.4.23

    How can I solve?

    Hey joerka27,

    Thank you for inquiry.

    We replied in the previous thread and provided a filter that will hopefully fix the issue that you are having with the shortcode. For the comments issue, try to add this filter in the functions.php file.

    add_filter("comments_open", function() {
       return true;
    }, 9999);

    And make sure that comments are enabled in the Settings > Discussion panel.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
