    EDIT: What’s below doesn’t really solve my problem, I’m giving it as an example to possibly further assist with getting a “real” solution to the problem.

    As a “hack” to get around this, I’m currently using the following code in my header.php file, just above the closing head tag:

    Where the given menu items need to be hidden (there are others, this is just an example) if the user is not logged into DAP. It’s working, but not when the menu is in “mobile” mode (my theme is set to be responsive).

    Ideally, I need something to modify the Enfold conditional logic to allow for the “dap is logged in/out” condition and not just the “wp logged in/out” condition.

    Topic: Migrating Enfold Database over from test site to Live

    I have a test site where I have done some extensive work at http://www.idesign-websites.co.uk pasword is giles123 and I am migrating to http://www.regen-uk.co.uk

    I am using WP-Migrate by Brad Touesnard which I have used extensively over a number of years. However I have tried everything but cant get this to work usually on all my other sites this works without issue.

    I have tried pointing the new config file to the development database and all is fine. But when I import new database and connect I get nothing only blank screen. I see the following issue with the template builder from the error logs can you please help urgently as I have to get site up and running today.

    UPDATE as at 3:23 pm
    I have now recently uploaded the latest version 2.5.4 of enfold and reloaded database on live site error log does not show anything now but get this error in firefox saying page is not redirecting properly Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete. This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

    I have also deleted databse and recreated a fresh install of the database all looks ok but have no data in it !!

    PLEASE CAN YOU HELP I have been trying to migrate over and it has taken all day so far and no further forward my host provider says it is not an issue with them but the theme.

    Update – Site will respond to wp-admin and shows login screen but does not allow you to login see http://www.regen-uk.co.uk/wp-admin

    Have just tried All-in-One WP Migration plugin and exactly same thing happens, goto browser and get same error. There is definately something that is wrong in the database during migration of one domain name to another that is causing the issue. I can get the migrated site and do a fresh install fine, but that is not what I want to do. The database should be able to be migrated using the appropriate tools and plugins without having to start again from scratch

    An error pops up when I click the Import Dummy Data button. I do not have BB press installed.
    Error says; importing didn’t work! You might want to try reloading teh page and then try again

    Topic: Entire Menu Disappearing (Instead of Select Items) with Membership Plugin

    I’m using DigitalAccessPass (DAP) in conjunction with WordPress to manage the frontend of my site. DAP hides/removes pages that are for “members eyes only” from the menu. This way these pages only appear in the menu if the user is logged into DAP.

    I understand that this may be a bit outside of the area of support for a purchased theme, but I have a support ticket in with the creators of DAP and I’m trying to work at this problem “from both ends” so to speak, because I’m kind of in a “limbo” area…plugin support for a theme.

    What is happening is my entire menu disappears from view when I activate the “hide members only pages” within DAP…but the actual links themselves are there if you mouseover the menu area (but there is no anchor text for any menu item, so you can’t see any menu). If I deactivate the “hide members only pages” within DAP, the menu appears 100% normally.

    Here is the only thing I can think of that might help you guys if you’re kind enough to have a look..the “before and after” source code of my menu with the “hide members only pages” within DAP setting activated (from <nav to </nav> with the two different sets of settings):

    EDIT: Please note I haven’t modified/beautified the source code…it’s a complete copy/paste…all the spacing changes, etc, are all a result of activating/deactiving the “hide members only pages” within DAP

    hey there, this might be a coincidence, but i dont believe in those.
    however, i there, I’ve been using backupbuddy for a long period of time. in fact i did make a complete backup just 3 days ago. now that i have prepared the new server to migrate, the backup does not work anymore.
    it gets stuck at the same point.

    i have no clue. i know that there are some php issues that are not support by my host, but as i mentioned everything worked fine all the time. just having theses problems since tis morning. and it doesnt seem to matter at which part of the day i start the backup…

    I checked previous threads regarding integrating relevanssi and added the provided function in my function.php

    Note, I read Devin’s instructions to add to top of functions:
    Add it to the top of your functions.php file just under: if(isset($avia_config[‘use_child_theme_functions_only’])) return;
    though I don’t have that line in my child theme…I’m guessing the supplied child theme functions.php file has been updated? Is this the case? Mine is probably from 3-4 months ago

    What is the option you’re using for “Display Preview Images” on the portfolio item? You can find the thumbnail sizes on functions.php:

    You can change the width and height then regenerate the thumbnails using this plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

    Unfortunately it’s a WPML bug and the plugin devs are apparently not going to fix it – see http://wpml.org/forums/topic/wpml-and-ajax-calls/. We now created a workaround which is not very user friendly but the only solution we can provide from our end and we added a filter which helps the user to translate the text. Copy the code I posted here: https://gist.github.com/InoPlugs/f6e551f9aaf5ff33a9c6 to your functions.php file and replace the language shortcodes (i.e. en or fr, etc.) with your language shortcodes. Then translate the text strings (“Sorry, no posts matched your criteria”, “Please try another search term”, etc.) for each language and save the functions.php file.

    That code should go to Functions.php file and not to Quick CSS or Custom.css file

    @mcironlung you can add the Avia Advanced Layout Builder to ‘posts’ and ‘custom post types’ by editing the meta.php

    It’s actually very easy to do and here is a video showing you how: http://vimeo.com/64996057 just remember that these changes will need to be made each time you update the theme though.

    Dear Kriesi team,
    i have problem in translating Enfold theme throught WPML plugin, the support at WPML can’t say why did it happened with me, may be you can.
    The main problem is when i’m trying to make a page in default languange (Russian) and put the page in menu – everything is ok, but when i’m trying to translate the page and put translated one into the translated menu – there is an error, like a:

    i’ve ask php to max_execution_time 0

    i’ve ask php to memory_limit 1024M
    [26-Feb-2014 16:12:47] PHP Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 0 seconds exceeded in /wp-includes/post.php on line 1920

    There is some pages that can be opened in two languages, English and Russian, but i can’t understand why it works on one pages and doesn’t work on another.

    Hi I cant get background video to work at all and I have tried with all types youtube , vimeo nothing works. I am using the correct linking method.

    icon lists are not showing up correctly with no icons.
    Progress Bar colors not displaying

    Hi Josue,

    Yes the theme is compatible for translation (front end, aviation editor) but except “Theme option” that does not contain “po” file and “mo” and remains in English. I installed WPML to try to translate “theme option” but I do not know if this is possible. How do I translate as simply “theme option” without it generates errors? I can create a “mo” file translate “register-admin-options.php”?I may have missed something in the setup

    Hey!

    1) Please try to re-install the theme with ftp: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/67209750 – maybe a theme file is corrupt.

    2) Go to Enfold > Theme Options and delete your custom icon font files. Then upload the icon font file again. I get a warning “: include(/home3/hawthor3/public_html/wp-content/uploads/avia_fonts/fontello/charmap.php) [” – “]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in …” and it seems like the font files where removed from the server during the update.

    Anyway, you can remove them by editing js > avia.js. Find this code on line 5:

    I have 3 theme hacks that I have to update every time you update, perhaps you guys can easily point me in the right direction with them? The first hack adds title tag to the logo- for whatever reason the theme does not add it correctly.

    I manually added in title='{$alt}’ in both statements to get the title to work.

    The second hack is to add text to the cart button, and to hide it with a CSS indent.

    I just tried it out with my live child them and didn’t any errors. The query values were reversed so it should be the following:

    
add_filter('avia_masonry_entries_query', 'avia_random_image_query', 10, 2);
function avia_random_image_query($query, $params)
{
    if(is_page(array(5173)))
    {
        $query['orderby'] = "title";
        $query['order'] = "ASC";
    }

    return $query;
}

    but it shouldn’t cause any errors. Just make sure your functions file has an opening ‘<?php’ and the function is after that.
