Perfect Josue…thank you very much !

Hi,
The old version is easier for searching the answer of my questions. Anyway, since it’s harder for me to find them, I will ask your help to solve my issues,
1. I want to center the title of preview image in both portfolio grid and post slider.
2. how can I change the size of preview image in post?
thanks.
Yes, I know.
I am talking about the single image element. When I am adding an image, especially if it is a features page or something like that, I’m not going to be adding an entire gallery. Therefor – it would be better to have the option of adding a caption to single images.
Ability to add captions to image elements
I think with image is better, so I’m asking the same question with image:
When I try to edit the ‘Enfold – most beautiful theme ever’,
I get following error:

also,
problem in saving the new slider:

Hi,
The size is actually set to 180px.
.single-post .single-small.with-slider .small-preview {
width: 180px;
height: 180px;
}
Please add this on your custom.css or Quick CSS:
.small-preview .attachment-square.wp-post-image {
height: 100%;
height: auto\9;
}

Hi,
Have you tried resizing the background image to let’s say 1500x500px? The demo images usually have that dimension for Color Sections.

Ismael
Hi anchantw,
You can use this plugin to change all content to use HTTPS over HTTP in the meantime: http://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-https/
The background images sounds like its a user uploaded one or possible added in via the Quick CSS field (which gets saved to the enfold.css file in the dynamic upload folder). If that is the case then you can modify it in the css. If not, then it just needs its method changed for custom uploads in the style editor.
Both will be fixed with the above plugin however though neither actually effect the security of using SSL.

Devin
Ismael,
I can’t link you the website and don’t have time to make a screenshot sadly. (I know, I know)
You were pretty much on point with what I wanted to do. You code works fine but when I make more than one Custom CSS Class for the quick CSS, my images vanish except the first one.
So I have three sections on the same page, in each of these sections there is a paragraph of text and a header in a 1/2 column. These three sections are separated by default Hr dividers. I essentially want three different pictures that will slide in beside the paragraphs of these three sections. These pictures will be large and for stylistic reasons I want them to align with the text but at the same time overlap the Hr dividers if need be. Your solution above seemed to work for this after I added a z-index.
My question to you is can I accomplish this by placing the image another 1/2 column beside the 1/2 column with the paragraph? And if not (manually adjust left and top position), how come I can’t get all three pictures to display if I assign them different CSS Classes and give them separate properties in Quick CSS?
Hope that made more sense.
If you want to see an example, http://www.apple.com uses this a lot.
Hi Mike,
Try adding this code to the Quick CSS area in the Theme options page:
.slide-image, .image-overlay{
max-height: 185px;
}

Thanks for the quick reply.
The map image is displaying correctly on http://www.assc.org.uk/contact-us/.
The facebook plug-in is currently disabled in the right sidebar at http://www.assc.org.uk/
Hi Mario,
This picture is 430×360 not 430×480.

I have the same issue. I’m running Enfold 2.1 (clean install on a new host) and Enfold Child 1.0 downloaded a day after the 2.1 update came out. Is this issue present on the Child theme, but not the main theme? Can I import my settings from the Child theme into the Main theme? Is there even a need for the Child theme now that the main theme includes an update theme feature?
Hi,
I have a website that is using the Enfold google map widget on my contact page. This displays correctly.
However, when I enable the custom-facebook-feed plug-in (http://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-facebook-feed/), then the facebook feed works as expected, but the google map widget no longer displays the map image.
This behaviour occurs in both custom widget and existing widget areas. As soon as I deactivate the custom-facebook-feed plug-in, then the google map image returns with a simple refresh of the website page.
I appreciate that this is issue is just as likely to be the fault of the custom-facebook-feed plug-in, but unfortunately, I’ve got no idea of where to begin in tracking down the clash.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
It would make sense that it was intended if the “fallback image” degraded gracefully. Instead I get a collapsed area that still displays the stylings of that container.
Urrr … spoke too soon. It DID let me add new images but then when I tried to add more I was unable to. I deleted the gallery and started over and now it’s back to displaying the same five images it was originally showing, site logo etc.
Could I give someone on the support team admin privileges so you could take a look at this for me? THANKS
I think I have this working now. I uploaded preview images in addition to setting up the gallery and now the gallery is remembering its contents. I guess the key is to load the images in two separate places …
Hi,
I have an issue with product category size
On this page for example : Category page
The category image on top is displayed in W430 H360
The actual size is W430 H480
In other categories the size is fine, but some is not .. its weird
I have checked woocommerce settings, media settings, i have deleted the image permanently with ftp, i have test force regenerate thumbnails plugin but no luck! It drives me crazy
Do you have any idea how to fix it?
regards
Mario

Oh,
it’s done now. Right click will be possible.
Thanks for helping.

Many thanks Josue. I have the same question. Can we set this in css only or does it have to also be in the html files?
It would also be cool to display the logo image only when the menu shrinks. Otherwise, show the regular logo name.
Hi Frank,
We need to see CSS codes on your website in order to find you a solution :)

Hi,
Don’t worry, here’s a bigger screenshot:

Sorry Josue, you’re dealing with a newbie on this… Old designer… new to doing this stuff myself instead of using a programmer. I don’t see where any of the other sliders are listed . :/
Here are some screen shots of what we are dealing with in Internet explorer. The image on the left is in chrome and on the right is the clients version of IE – he has the most recent version of IE as I do but he is using windows 7 and I am on windows 8.

Thanks again.
It shows in the demo as full width with the layers coming in over it
that’s the effect I am trying to get.
I cant find the right setting to make the height of images on the post slider all the same size.
Here is a screenshot of my issue, where the image on the left is too big.

Can anyone help ?

mikemurphy10. Reason: added 'height'
One more followup. After changing the theme to TwentyThirteen the default WP Gallery properly loads selected gallery images. Enfold portfolio items also load the default gallery images properly.
There is definitely something wrong with the Advanced Theme gallery on this site. Even with all plugins deactivated, it doesn’t work.
Galleries are an important feature. I hope someone can help soon!

Hi,
I believe that’s not possible with LayerSlider, but you can always use the “full screen slider” element.

Josue
Thanks so much!! How do I make the images full width of the screen?
