    Hi,

    Domain: http://www.onthe8.com

    We are using latest version of your Enfold Theme and WordPress. We updated all our images to Retina.

    Every thing is working fine except Portfolio Grid. Images are displaying Non-Retina and Even Fonts are blur.
    Easy slider in Portfolio is also showing non retina.

    Rest of the website is all showing great in retina display. (Great theme)
    We are using WP Retina 2x Plugin

    Please HELP

    Thanks
    Jas

    Hey,

    You can add this on your custom.css or Quick CSS:

    .single-post .single-small.with-slider .small-preview {
    left: 65px;
    }

    Regards,
    Ismael

    #162778

    Hey,

    Are you using the “Image” post format? It should open the image on lightbox.

    Regards,
    Ismael

    #162774

    Hey,

    You can remove the icon on top of the post using this on your custom.css or Quick CSS;

    .post-author-format-type {
    display: none;
    }

    Regards,
    Ismael

    The gm version was released to developers last week which is the same version being released tomorrow. I’ll wait, but that still doesn’t explain why this is happening for other users as well.

    Thanks

    #162762

    Thanks Yigit. That was very helpful.

    Now I can change the size of the preview but it was not centred. Is there a code for it?

    Hey,

    You should probably deactivate all your plugins. Add this on your .htaccess.

    <IfModule mod_security.c>
    SecFilterEngine Off
    SecFilterScanPOST Off
    </IfModule>

    Regards,
    Ismael

    Why can’t I select a size via the menu for the Easy Slider? Why have the menu?

    hi, again

    that didn’t change the width of the rollover area itself – i’d prefer to actually keep the thumbnails, but for some reason when i was importing the images, some worked OK and others are seen as much larger in the post thumbnail list when editing – perhaps a flaw in the host…

    regardless, the rollover to the left is now wrapping the text and to the right it still looks like about 240 pixels on hover, but i think that if the name isl onger than 100 pixels it’s going to wrap, and i just want the overall hover area to be tighter

    thanks again :)

    Here is the thread (posted below), it wouldn’t let me reply so had to post Fresh forum post… mainly I REALLY was hoping the Parallax effect could work on iphones (since half the world’s site views 2013/14 are from this platform) or at least have option for mobile view to ‘fix’ the backgrounds so we still get some depth as content is scrolled over. I design quite a few client sites in Adobe’s Muse and they have amazing parallax on mobile coding/ability now.
    Just seems there must be a way to have the beautifull Enfold/Kriesi parallax to not be choppy on mobile… I Hope!!
    BIG THANKS for the Enfold Awesomeness and Kriesi Team Amazingnes$!! Keep Em Coming Plz!

    On the one page portfolio homepage, the parallax images are not scaling on iphone (http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/homepage/home-v7-one-page-portfolio/).

    When i scroll down with my iphone to the image of the kitchen i will see the following: http://web-flight.nl/enfold-bug.png

    I have the same problem with: http://www.digified.co

    Hi kpellikaan,

    Which iPhone do you have and which OS version? Kriesi is the only one of us that is able to test for iPhones specifically but it should scale somewhat based on the image settings for the color section.

    Hi,

    Please try this:

    @media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
    .avia-section {
    max-width: 100%;
    }
    }
    Remove browser cache then reload the page.

    Hi!

    Hey! I think I found a solution that should work on mobile devices. Will update the theme later today, let us know if it solves you issue. The enfold version is 2.1

    Best regards,

    Kriesi

    Hi cloverco,

    The size you choose in the settings is only the size that gets output. The css and container is what actually determines the size of the image for the screen its currently being viewed on.

    So if you want the image slider to be smaller you need to put it into a smaller container via a column element.

    Devin

    Hi Alex,

    iOS7 gets officially released tomorrow as far as I know so you are still on somewhat of a non-standard browser. I’m guessing Kriesi has not updated yet or perhaps you are on a different dev version since the official release isn’t out (at least right at this moment).

    Try giving it a few days after the release and see if the issue remains. At that point Kriesi may run into the same thing as the general public does with the full release.

    Regards,

    Devin

    I’m running iOS 7 GM – freshly restored with no backup restored on an iPhone 5.

    Thanks!

    I only have kismet, bbpress, bbpress moderation, jetpack by wordpress.com, woocommerce, and wordpress seo (by yoast). All the latest versions. I can’t live without a single one of them. And yeah, cache cleared.

    You should post a forum rules that tells people to do some basic things AND THEN make a post. That would certainly cut your support work down. I am sure I missed something that most people do (besides cache and refresh).

    I would also LOOOOOOVE if there were a page that listed some basic functions that can be added to custom css to make changes like what I needed help with to change the promo box to a regular form submission box (like the submit button on this reply to form). That would answer many questions people have as well and they could extrapolate more from what they get on those pages. But I guess all that custom css editing would really make your job harder if it was the custom code that caused the problem. Hrmm, I dunno.

    Hey! Just checked the site on my phone and the background images appear nice and as expected. Mind sending a screenshot and telling us which version of iOS you are using?

    #162655

    Hey,

    Did you remove the browser cache then reload the page a few times? If you have a cache plugin, please flush the settings. Disable all your plugins, see if it works. I already tagged the topic to Kriesi. Let’s wait for his response.

    I checked the site using this: http://responsinator.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fhomesmartsecure.com%2F
    The Color Sections are scaling properly on mobile view. Let me tag Kriesi.

    Sure – if you visit my site: http://www.flylanddesigns.com and click on any of the images in the portfolio section, I’d like the image list that comes up in the ajax portfolio after you click on a thumbnail to have a little more space between each image.

    Enfold: Easy Slider. No matter what size I choose in the menu, Easy Slider forces the images to 1030 x 1030. Also doesn’t matter what size I make the original image, slider still forces display to 1030 x 1030. http://shahforcouncil2014.com

    Hi all,

    I am trying to find a way to change the portfolio preview image window in an ajax 3 column portfolio to a square dimension. I have a lot of images that are 1080 by 1080 and don’t want to go back through them to reformat to, what I think is, 10W / 8H ratio.

    Or is there a way to make the preview auto fit to the image size. A bit like #angular did in its ajax portfolio?

    Thanks in advance for any help.

    Matt

    Hi,

    You should add following code to Quick CSS

    .av_promobox .avia-button {
    background-image: none;
    font-size: 13px;
    font-weight: normal;
    transition: background 0.5s; -webkit-transition: background 0.5s; }
    .av_promobox .avia-button:hover { background-color:blue; border-color: #88bbc8; transition: background 0.5s; -webkit-transition: background 0.5s; transition: border-color 0.5s; -webkit-transition: border-color 0.5s;  }

    Regards,
    Yigit

    While you’re there looking to see what I mean about making the promo code button look and behave exactly like the submit form (email) button, maybe you can check the website on mobile (iOS). The parallax images are shown at full size on mobile and not cropped shorter as described in the other thread I started on this forum.

    Hey! I have played around yet another 5 hours and I think this is almost unsolvable. the effort we put combined into this issue is no longer worth it.

    The slider has all the proper ie8 fallbacks for full cover background images applied. crazy stuff like ms filters and filter that should fix the issues and does that on other themes we use just fine. but for a strange reason I cant get it to work here.

    ie8 somehow messes the whole thing up no matter what and at this point I have no idea what is causing the issue. I even deleted all non related css and the problem still persists. so at this point I think its safe to say that the fullscreen slider cant work 100% IE8 with this theme. It will either distort the images or only align it centered without stretching it, even if the vieport is bigger than the image. I think I will re-set the slider to the second non-distorting behavior since at least a user can upload a big image and circumvent the distortion problem. its probably also save to say that not many IE8 users have a screen resolution of more than 1500px so they will never encounter the problem.

    Sorry for that, I almost never give up on any issue but I have wasted so many hours now on this that I simply want to throw my windows machine out of the window -_-

    Hello,

    Hoping someone can help as I have been looking for a solution for a while now.

    I want to launch a lightbox gallery from a text or button link but cannot figure out how to do it. I can get a single image to link from a text link but not a gallery so some code example would be very useful if possible.

    I would prefer to link to the gallery from a button in the same style as the theme if at all possible.

    Thanks in advance,

    Andrew

    Hi!

    I wonder if I can remove the lightbox (and the whole link from the images) in ajax preview? Im using sliders and don’t want any link from them at all, just the slide.

    Hi K,

    1) Please add following code as well
    .main_color .grid-entry-title { text-align: center; }

    2) Please see this topic https://kriesi.at/support/topic/featured-image-size-2/

    3) It is your Gravatar picture. That is where you need to change it
