Hey gianmarizzi!
1) Which news item specifically? I didn’t get this error when checking through them.
2) With Chrome I also wasn’t able to get any issues with the font in either the /news page or month archives.
3) I was also not able to get the same issue when clicking on the months.
Each of these sounds like it may have a similar if not the same source of just a too slow internet connection or one that is a bit spotty. If the page doesn’t fully load it could cause a font issue, an image to not fully load in or for the url to change but the intended page not to change.

Devin

Hey!
There is nothing in the theme that has the word “yyyyeeees” like that so no I don’t think its from the theme.

Hi!
You can use this plugin to easily turn off cropping on image thumbnails http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/simple-image-sizes/
and then use it to regenerate your images using the new rules.

Okay, I think I just realized the answer to 2. I need to select “No Scaling” in the Easy Slider menu. I still don’t know why the PNG won’t upload, but its not a big deal.
Hello!
I found this closed thread here, which got me started but I’m having troubles.
1. I have created a slide PNG image that is two time larger than my selected Easy Slider size (710x270px). In theory I could upload it and would work for either retina displays or not. But it just refuses to upload (its only 428K).
2. I exported a copy of this slide as a JPG and COULD get it to upload, however the Easy Slider is choosing to display the 710x270px image when in fact, I’d like to display the 1420x540px version so it works on retina devices.
What am I doing wrong?
Hey!
I just checked your website and images looked normal to me. Can you post a screenshot and show how you would like them to look?
Regards,
Yigit
I don’t see how to post a screen shot. But maybe this will help.
!. Go to this link and click on a portfolio image. http://bassgds.com/new-site/movie-theater-displays/concession-signs/
2. In the Ajax Portfolio the image is getting cutoff.
3. If you go to this link. http://bassgds.com/new-site/our-products/cs2/
4. The image is proportional and doesn’t get cropped.
5. I want the images in the Ajax to not get cropped and show up proportional like the 2nd link.
Question:
Are the thumbnails for gallery/masonry actually generated thumbnails which link to the full sized image, or are they just scaled down? YSlow flagged all of my images as being scaled down using HTML.
I updated but that didn’t help things. I resized all my images to 800 x smaller it is loads them faster…. of course. The Gallery still dislays them faster either with original or resized images. Hopefully you guys can make some improvements to the masonry load times.
Thanks much!
HI
Many thanks for this – right now messing around with illustrator etc to try and get some decent images.
On a different topic – I am getting lost as to how to edit the images that are displayed in the three large boxes under single portfolio 2/3 slider – which goes across the page in 3 colums on the template home page – when I click edit it just allows you to change how many display etc. How to I change the actual images?
Thank you!
Hi guys,
Has anyone found away to implement parallax scrolling on the background image of color sections? What I am trying to achieve is for the background image to scroll slowly vertically, as the page scrolls, at a different speed to the foreground content. Similar to this example:
http://cleartones.net/#cleartones
Currently I use color sections with fixed background images, so when the color sections scrolls it reveals the image below it. It’s a nice enough effect, but I wonder if it’s that much harder to make the background image scroll slowly like the example above?
If anyone has any ideas I’d love to know.
Cheers,
G

Hey…
Setting the “Slideshow image Size” does not work. (at least like i want…
example:
Image1: height 1600px width 500 px
image2: heigth 500px width 1600 px
Slideshow image size = 1500 x 800 max
-> image1 is scaled up to fit the whole width of the Easyslider Element. so it is to high, to display it without scroling
-> Iimage2 is scaled down, because it is to large in width.
So for me it seems, that in the EasySlider element everything is scaled depending on the width of the Slider.
But i wish to define a maximum hight. so that Image1 get scaled to reach the 800 px max heigth and is then displayed centered in the Slide Element (like it works in the FullscreenSlider)

Thanks for the CSS Ismael. That’s quality support!
Hi erikkIsrael!
I’m not really sure if I understand you correctly but do you want a full width background on a page? You can use this plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-backgrounds-lite/
Please post a screenshot.
Best regards,
Ismael
Hey SAdesignsUnltd!
Can you please elaborate? Please post a screenshot of the issue.

hi all,
my website is http://www.geoclima.com
If you go to news section (www.geoclima.com/news) you can see several big issues:
1) on firefox: clicking on one news title got this error message: The image “http://www.geoclima.com/xxx/” can’t be shown because has some errors.
2) on chrome: font of news titles looks different when you click on http://www.geoclima.com/news, but when you click on one of the months looks correct
3) on chrome: randomly clicking on one month, url changes (e.g. http://www.geoclima.com/2013/02/) but it appears as nothing happened.

The plugin “Media Library Assistant” was causing the issue. That is a shame, because I have a lot of images and the WordPress Media Library is useless.
It would be nice, if you could add support for the NextGen Gallery here.
Thanks a lot for your solution.

Hi, Yigit
in firefox and i.e is ok indeed.
But in chrome not. I clear cache but the issue is not resolved, pls check the second image…

Hey!
You can add this on your Quick CSS or custom.css to change the background of the logo then remove the logo image on mobile device view:
@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
.responsive .logo {
background: url('http://heartland.estlandpreview2.com/wp-content/themes/heartland/images/logo_header_mobile.png') no-repeat;
position: relative;
top: 50px;
left: 30px;
}
.responsive .logo img {
margin: 0 auto;
display: none;
}
}
Best regards,
Ismael
Hi,
Thanks for slider speed,
What about my last question?
2. I wish to change font of titles (h1-h3) and font of main menu (all of it will be same font). I have font as .ttf file.
Font is Edwardian Script ITC .. it’s in Microsoft Office and in image editors, but I don’t see it on google fonts.. :(
I found it as “stand alone” version, so I have file in .ttf format. I need it to apply only on H titles and main menu.
Regards,
Vedran
How do I change the color or Image that is used ?
It’s barely noticeable in my design but it’s pictured here, underneath the menu item “What’s Freesh?”
https://www.dropbox.com/s/4x4yn9pafppnxld/Screen%20Shot%202014-01-10%20at%2011.22.24%20AM.png
And please also tell me how I can remove it entirely in case I can’t find a way to make it look good on my site.
Thanks
Jonny
Hi,
After the last update 09/01/2014 this CSS customization lose the action. The image flag in the secondary menu is not more vertical centered. :
/*Style Flag link secondary menu*/
#menu-item-6214 a {
position: relative;
top: -10px;
}
#menu-item-6214 a img{
position: relative;
top: 5px;
}
Other change was in the image attributes width=”20px” height=”20px” that have no more effect in secondary menu.
Do you have any suggestion about that?
THANK YOU.
How do you get that to not crop and fit proportionally? Example, http://bassgds.com/new-site/movie-theater-displays/concession-signs/
If you click on one of the products, the image is getting cut off. Looks good on single page and small thumb. Just not the big thumb.
Ah I see, thanks. Is there a way to change the “pencil icon” to another one as this “pencil” and where can I do this?
Since I updated to 2.4.5 the input area on the contact section is dark and the font is barely readable. See pic http://cl.ly/image/3v3B2A1S0X2q No matter what color sceme I choose it does not change.
Isn’t there another reason for this issue? I guess, only changing CSS of the thumbnails wouldn’t be enough, because they have these ENFOLD overlays, too. CORONA can handle this perfectly – with the same plugins and settings.
Here a screenshot with Firebug – why does ENFOLD ignore this size of 50px?
http://screencloud.net/v/hcbp
Has it something to do with ENFOLD’s overlay images?
I’ve tried this http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/disable-css-overlay-on-images/, but this hide them only and has therefor no effect on the NextGen widget thumbnails, which should be 50x50px.
