Dont know if this is asking too much, -…I just really think it would be cool to have theese features
-and just hope it to be simple soloutions !
1…..http://jsa-gitterflex.apartebuild.dk/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/breadcrum-remove-blogpage.jpg
I’d like to get rid of the breadcrumbs that appear on post pages AND singlepost pages aswell (but not on the homepage in general):
I’v tried some older threads but cant find a piece of code that will work on my page :-(
2….Alternatively i would be happy just to be able to control the pages wich the breadcrumblinks link to !!!
3. Would it be possible to have a backarrow-button” from singlepost to blogpage it feels like landing in the dessert the way it just end now :-)
4…..http://jsa-gitterflex.apartebuild.dk/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/scrollbar-on-blogpage.jpg
-This would be a nice touch ! -Is there a simple piece of code to do this ?
5…..http://jsa-gitterflex.apartebuild.dk/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/partner-logo-as-menu.jpg
-My client wants the images (in all there are 8) in the partner Element/logo to change on hoover and act more like a menu that shows the current page the visitor is seeing by holding on to the hoover-image. -Just like the red line jumps and stays underlining the text in the header navigation line. All 8 images have unique links to pages i dont want to see in my header/ -or footer menu !
6….. You supported me in this thread https://kriesi.at/support/topic/header-navigation-menu-and-spacing-on-blogpagepost/#post-212517
-The code provided by ismael worked perfektly but im wondering if it would be even nicer to make the whole area above the navigation textline less active just the way ismaels code did to the area covering the telephonenr. Its never goodlooking when you have mouse shoving “hotspot” in blank areas :-)
Is there an easy fix for this too ?

All the best to you good people

Hey segalmedia!
You really can’t disable that because it is a default browser feature but you can change the title on Media > Library. Edit the image title.

ok, I now get the individual portfolio items. In fact I’ve just created some.
Now I guess I have to set up a /portfolio/ page and link some of the relevant elements to its counterparts (portfolio items). Am I right?
Another thing. I dont get when or where to use and how the “portfolio grid” works. I put a “portfolio grid” in a -say- test page and all I can do is select categories and columns, sizes, links, etc. but now that I have those “portfolio items” set with the featured image I don’t know what to do with this “portfolio grid” I just don’t get it… It seems the “grid” –if any– cannot be “filled” cos in fact there’s no grid to fill… I’m for sure missing something.
Then there is the Ajax porfolio, but since I dont plan to use it right now… however in my tests I didnt get it to wrok or to show anything at all…
Glad if you can light me on this topics…
Hi!
Have you tried it on a different browser? Maybe a browser extension or app is blocking the proper use of the media library. Increase the wordpress php memory limit, see if that helps. Remove browser cache and cookies then test the gallery again.

Ismael
Hi Enfold,
My client (http://hubholdings.com/) wants to eliminate image name popping up when hovered over. Is this possible?
Thanks so much!
never mind, just ended up creating a background image with the color i wanted and added it that way.
Everything I would say to explain it is here: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/create-new-portfolio-item/
I know you mentioned reading the docs so that may be something you’ve already read. If not, give it a read and see if it helps.
The gist of it is that each portfolio item is a page you create. Its content is blank until you add something in just like any other page. The featured image is what gets used to represent that portfolio item when using the Portfolio element in the advanced layout builder.
So for every single portfolio item you create you must set a featured image.
Then below the regular visual editor is the section for configuring how that specific item will show if you use the Ajax portfolio style. That is where the portfolio items open up on the same page as the grid.
Hi, her is the link to the article
http://customizewp.com/eliminate-render-blocking-javascript-and-css-above-the-fold-content-in-wordpress-w3-total-cache/?preview=true&preview_id=915&preview_nonce=69cf825da2&post_format=standard
here is the link to the blog
http://customizewp.com/blog
As you can see also the image is streached and I do not think it should
In Theme preferences I do have set a page blog as blog
In Theme settings -> Theme Options I have set blog page as blog and in the “General Setting” section I have set “Multi author blog”

With the portrait view of my site on a iphone, the logo is cutoff. See image. Thoughts on how to correct this without changing the size of the logo on the normal full screen version of the site? THanks!

Hi there,
I’m struggling with a Portfolio Grid right now. I have created a few categories for portfolio items so I can make appear different subsets of theme in different parts of the website. I also want to make use of the sorting feature that allows selecting a group of categories for portfolios in a portfolio grid to let the user “filter” the types of portfolios she wants to see.
My problem is that the Portfolio Grid only shows the “All” feature (“Todo” in spanish, since I’ve localized the site using WPML and it is available in Spanish and English). Here’s what I see:

Instead of just seeing “Todo”, I should be seeing Todo · Cat1 · Cat2 …. · Cat 7, shouldn’t I?
Here’s how the portfolio grid was defined (retrieved from the db):
[av_portfolio categories='129,132,133,128,131,134,135' columns='4' items='16' contents='excerpt' preview_mode='auto' image_size='portfolio' linking='' sort='yes' paginate='yes']
Categories exist, as you can see from the database:
mysql> select * from wp_terms where term_id in (129,132,133,128,131,134,135);
+---------+----------------+---------------------+------------+
| term_id | name | slug | term_group |
+---------+----------------+---------------------+------------+
| 128 | Publicaciones | articulos | 0 |
| 129 | Congresos @es | articulos-congresos | 0 |
| 131 | Revistas | articulos-revistas | 0 |
| 132 | JCR @es | revistas-jcr | 0 |
| 133 | Primer tercio | jcr-tercio1 | 0 |
| 134 | Segundo tercio | jcr-tercio2 | 0 |
| 135 | Tercer tercio | jcr-tercio3 | 0 |
+---------+----------------+---------------------+------------+
7 rows in set (0.00 sec)
That’s how the categories are shown up in wordpress:

All categories have been translated in two languages using WPML.
I have the same problem in all pages, with disregard of which categories I select for the portfolio grid.
Any ideas? Perhaps the translation of the categories caused all this mess? I do not know how to sort this out…
Just to confirm what Maggie247 said, it seems to only work properly when you upload images to the gallery, but if you choose existing images form the media library it doesn’t work.
I’m having the same problem. It doesn’t show the images that I choose for the gallery, it just shows everything in the media library instead.
Please help.
Hey!
Yes but I didn’t notice the issue on other websites yet and we can’t add fixes to the core without making sure it’s a general issue. However I probably found the problem – please try to insert
.avia-msie .entry-content-wrapper a{ max-width: 100%; }
into the quick css field. If this doesn’t work try to add an !important tag. I think this code in css/base.css causes the issue
a { text-decoration: none; outline: 0; max-width:100%; max-width:none\9; }
The max-width:none\9 hack is required for IE8 but in our case it also breaks the image link.
Best regards,
Peter
Hi!
What is the “homepage top animated banner”, a slider? an image? can you post a link to your website?
Cheers!
Josue
Hi!!
I would like to have in my home page, the effect that your demo has in the page:
http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/homepage/home-v7-one-page-portfolio/
I mean the image in the background, and the text over the image, and scrolling.
For example: Below ‘Send us mail’ the image shows a living room, that is shown partially and changes when yo scroll up/down in the page.
I have a lot of post / pages / images en my site, so I dont want to load demo content.
Can you gave me the tips to achieve this effect?
Thanks a lot!!
José
Hey nonasnonas!
Can you post the link to your page where you have used small header layer slider so we can take a look?
Cheers!

Hi Devin!
Yes, I remember to have set a featured image in one of my testings and it kind of showed up but this point is also a little bit confusing to me, I mean, how does that isolated image works? Is it just kind of a thumbnail or it is something more relevant?…
The thing is that I can not clearly see what the term “portfolio items” refers to. I mean, well, I can get to know what they are for –showcasing portfolios– but I don’t get how my intended “parent-service” falls into this.
Do I have to set up different portfolios and then “fill” them with content? How? Where? In the /pages/ section? In the same /portfolio items/ section?
And once set, do I manually build the individual items to show like the demo site, don’t I? (http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/portfolio-item/slider-two-third/)
I kind of like the portfolio
I’m sorry this answer is messing the whole thing up. It’s just that unlike most of the other sections of the editor this portfolio thing is the one that is bringing me down… ;)
Thanks!

Hi!
In WordPress dashboard, please go to Appearance > Editor and open Header.php file and find
do_action('ava_after_main_menu');
?>
and your images as shown in this screenshot http://i.imgur.com/oJOF3sr.jpg
then add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under Styling tab and adjust as needed
img.headimg1, img.headimg2, img.headimg3, img.headimg4 { float: right; margin-left: 5px; }
Best regards,
Yigit

Hi!
Please add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under Styling tab
#header .avia_mega_div .avia_mega_menu_columns_first {
padding-left: 15px;
}
#header .avia_mega_div .avia_mega_menu_columns_last {
padding-right: 15px; }
#top #header .avia_mega_div > .sub-menu { padding: 20px 10px 30px; }
That should do it
Cheers!

Hey Juan!
For each of your portfolio items are you setting the featured image using the featured image meta box on the right hand side of the editor?
Best regards,
Devin
Hello,
Can you help me to enable a lightbox effect on product thumbnails on the woocommerce catalog page- rather then having the image click through to the single product page? I would like the “see details” to link to the product page. That would be marvellous! I tried using the magic thumb plugin to achieve this, but to no avail. Ideally we would like the same lightbox feature enabled for product grids & sliders too. The catalog is here
Thank you!
Kriesi.at is not the demo for the theme.
The demo is here: http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/forums/
That page is using the default, un-altered bbPress forum set up following the guides from bbPress for which we are *not* support for. If you set up forums using bbPress then that is the result you will get which inherits the theme’s styling options.
Full bbPress docs can be viewed here: http://codex.bbpress.org/
The demo data doesn’t include some pages and settings which aren’t able to be imported like bbPress settings. For everything else Kriesi has tried to include as much demo data as possible to show examples of everything without weighing the import down so that a user doesn’t have to delete a lot of extra pages, posts, images and settings which are really only useful as a demo and not something that could be modified to fit a need.
Hey!
Please refer to this post here https://kriesi.at/support/topic/change-logo-image-for-scrolled-header/#post-188003
200 will be initial size and will be /2 when scrolled, so 100.
You will see
if(st < el_height/2)
{
newH = el_height - st;
header.removeClass('header-scrolled');
}
else
{
newH = el_height/2;
in the same section, you can change /2 to /1.5 if you would like to divide initial size less than half

Yigit
Same issue here.
For instance, if we are using the ajax setup for a particular post and would like to show preview images, normally we would just select the images already uploaded from media. Now we have to re-upload those same exact images for the preview.
In a nutshell here are the symptoms. Please chime in if you are experiencing the same:
- Images take as much as 5x more time to upload
- Upload errors occur with one out of every four to five attempts
- admin has slowed dramatically
- Images from the media library cannot be reused, even in the same post
Plugins have been deactivated and reactivated. The file paths to mysql seem correct. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I have some galleries that I’ve created that have many images, and as such they take up a lot of page space. Is there a way to restrict the number of images seen as thumbnails – e.g. gallery has 48 images – would like to see 8 thumbnails.
Hope this makes sense! – here’s a link for example http://www.wendywhatlingdance.co.uk/gallery/
hello,
my title disappear when i put a link on a image in blog post…

No, tried and it doesnt fix the problem. Also when I want to make changes or add images to the existing image gallery, it doenst find any images… It only works when I make a gallery and upload the images, but not when I have them allready in my media library.
