Hi,
how can I hide image titles when hovering EASY SLIDER images?

Thank you.
Hi,
The controls (previous and next) works fine in Chrome but not in Mozilla Firefox. Meaning they hide in Chrome when mouse is not on the slider whereas in Firefox, the controls do not hide. Same is the case under post sliders (i am assuming both use the same code)
What can i do to resolve this?
Thanks in advance.
Kind Regards,
Bhavin Patel

Hey fgrippe!
Posts are meant for archived data. They are the only thing in WordPress that will be able to be sorted by date by default. So news, blog posts, things like that should be posts.
Posts will also not have the Avia Layout Builder on them because of this. So if you want more advanced layouts then Portfolio items are the way to go.
Pages can hold just about anything. You can have post grids, portfolio grids, images, video etc. Portfolio items are identical in that regard but can also be sorted by the portfolio taxonomy so they have their own category groupings.

Devin
Hi – I just noticed that product thumbnail images are no longer a consistent size.
The site is still under development, and I have recently imported many items, but I hadn’t seen this inconsistency before.

Hi!
It seems like background loads with the rest of the pages content on my end. Please try flushing browsers cache

Hi
Please see http://www.vineshomeclean.com
Without having to use the layerslider function. How can I make that first page image the full width of the website and with no white space between it and the header?
Many thanks
Jason

Hi!
I’m sorry but when I check the website vector.pl, it is not using an Enfold theme.

Hey!
Kriesi mentioned that you have to use the youtube.com link format instead of youtu.be links, since the slider currently doesn’t support the latter. Use http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pJwGoHSkeWw instead of this http://youtu.be/VvO9ZYgrN_E. Have you tried that with youtube videos? Please let us know if it works.
Cheers!

Hey AlexKK!
You can define a minimum height for the slider and the slider inner container:
.avia-slideshow-inner, .avia-fullwidth-slider {
min-height: 800px;
}

Hello,
I would like to be able to select a URL location for an image to use on the the FullScreen slider rather than having to select it from the WordPress media files.
I ask, as I am building a CDN using Google Drive (see http://cube3x.com/2013/11/how-to-use-google-drive-as-cdn-for-your-website/), and images will stored at the drive location.
Thank you
(I thought I had posted my question yesterday, but today I found no topic in my “Topics Started” page in my profile so I assume that I made some mistake and didn’t post it. Do excuse me in the off case that I’m double posting this)
Hello,
I am using the fullwidth easy slider and I would like to change it’s behavior – hope you could help me.
There is a problem when you want to display both horizontal and vertical images, say 800×600 and 600×800. Then the controls change place from one picture to the next. I can circumvent this by adding dead space to the images and making them all 800×800, but there should be a way to change the javascript to do it for me, that is force the container to be square (and still be dynamic). Something like setting the container width and height to the maximum of (resized_image_width, resized_image_height). Would you have any pointers on where I should start looking? Or maybe there is another solution to this problem that I’m unaware of
Thanks in advance.

It only seems to occur on Mozilla, is very slight and happens just after the images finish their load and before the unload transition:
link to screenr.

Yes
Here is the home page
http://www.cutradio.it/
The con ten slider is on the top
The first image (More steps Beyond has the width and height attribute (but is showed full)
The Third (Atlantico Negro) is resize because I set a css attribute awesome as I red in a post, but I don’t like this solution because I had some editor on the post

Hi lengleson!
You can’t create portfolio over a fullscreen slider. However, you can use the Color Section. Apply a background image on the section then insert the Portfolio Grid element.

Hi!
What type of Blog style do you have right now? You can use this on Quick CSS to hide or remove the featured image:
.single .big-preview.single-big, .single .small-preview {
display: none;
}
Cheers!

Hi Yigit
Done and no changes as u can see
I see – thanks – good idea! I’ll do this like that ;)
Thanks for the quick reply Devin
We have used a similar plugin which was great at selecting the first image in our posts and setting it as the featured image that could be used in the post sliders. Trouble is that it creates a double up of the images on the post page! I’m sure you understand this just looks stupid.
If we remove the image from the post it doesn’t show up in RSS feed and shares with social media sites – so not an ideal solution at all.
With this in mind – is there a way to maybe turn off the feature image from displaying in the post itself? This would mean we can have it as a feature image that can be displayed in the post slider and the same image actually in a post without it displaying twice.
Any suggestions would be great.
